I sat on the patio with my sister and 16 month old a few days ago. My sister was excited to have me try the banded goose beer... and enjoy a few appetizers! The beer and food was delicious! Service was POOR. Our server was clearly frustrated and made usfeel as if we were inconveniencing her simply by being there trying to enjoy a beer and some food. We had no expectation of herand were not there to be wowed by the service. But when there was multiple sighs and rude comments with our interactions withher I can?t help but leave a review. The basics of service were not even met. She did not offer a high chair. She did not evencome out to quality check our meal ( someone else from the team came a good while after). Nor was she the slightest bitfriendly. My sister left a very generous tip that was not reflective of her service. Will go and enjoy and beer anywhere else! Read more
Was visiting friends who live there and have been to the restaurant before. There was some issue with our reservation, it wasn?t... in their system unfortunately, however they did accommodate us inside. The server was amazing wish I remembered her name(Username 231) Excellent server. The food was fantastic as well. Had the perch fish and chips, and their ceasar salad was one ofthe best! Great local beers served as well. I highly recommend this restaurant! Can?t wait to return some day and sit on theirbeautiful patio. Read more
In an effort to extend our vacation we wanted to go for lunch - 2 families and our dog Chewy - Jack's fit the bill. A great... patio - super super calamari - you have to try it! I had the perch... The food was amazing! Everyone Loved their meal. We had 7 of us and everyone had something different. The manage was not very... accommodating. We didn't have reservations, and the manager was not happy we didn't have reservations. As we went through therestaurant I could see there was plenty of room. He said "I can't seat you together. One group will be seated on the otherside of the restaurant." We agreed. We were taken to the second floor and one group sat against the wall, 5 people. The othertwo sat at a table maybe 10 feet apart. We asked if we could move the one table to the other tables and he said no, and noexplanation. One person went downstairs and talked to Kevin, the manager and he finally allowed it. As we were walking outcustomers were making comments that we were the problem customers. Really! Read more
It was our first time last Saturday and it did not disappoint. We had lunch and walk right in without any reservation. We called... beforehand just to make one but they said, there is still few tables left. We grabbed the chance. Went it, receptionist greetedus. Very friendly and good service from the staff. Shout out to M :) the food is good, nothing pretentious and generousportions. They also have some fusion choices. i like that they have a weekly special feature to fish and burger. We stopped by for the first time yesterday and I was so delighted with our experience! The patio has such a cozy garden vibe and... we were able to bring our dog which is always a bonus for us. We reserved a table for 4 online. My husband looked at the menu. Nice variety, plenty to chose from. We rarely eat out, so... this was going to be a wonderful evening. The menu handed to us was 1 sided, quite small. It was not what we had read online. Our wonderful waitress said that it was changed 6 weeks ago.
