Great service along with great food, I recommend trying the "Big Mic" whether it's in the form of a burger or flatbread pizza.... Either choice you will not be disappointed. I have tried both versions. I also had their pizza steak sub, and their appetizers.I have had their fresh cut fries, mozzarella sticks, and their mini taco's. I would like to preface this review by stating that I have been a Flaherty?s customer for decades. The very first thing I ate... here was Cajun chicken wings and fresh cut fries, enjoyed while watching MNF with the friend who introduced me to the place. Ihave eaten the Cajun wings or bites at nearly every other visit here. Approximately one month ago, my family and I had dinnerhere on a Friday night. This particular night I noted the Cajun wing sauce was different. I was told by the server that this wasthe new sauce (which I will note was very heavy on mustard). I was also told the entire kitchen staff was new and they may havemessed up the sauce. At this same dinner, my husband?s order came out incorrect and all the fries came out cold and soggy. Theowner was contacted, and spoke to our server about five feet away from our table. He never once approached our table. He offeredno apology or compensation for this unsatisfactory meal. Despite my disappointment, I allowed a bit of time to pass and gave theplace another shot. This time, the Cajun sauce was also different, but tasted more like smoky ketchup. I thought back to anarticle I read in the Citizens? Voice when Flaherty?s was sold to Bill and Karen Smith by Gale and Jerry. These are directquotes from Denise Allabaugh?s article, written Aug 28, 2019, and updated Apr 17, 2020: ?New owners Bill and Karen Smith ofForty Fort plan to keep the name, the staff, the menu and all the traditions Jerry and Gale Flaherty have started.? ?Smith saidhe plans to keep the same menu and all the staff and "absolutely nothing is changing.? This disregard of a promise madepublicly, and the dismissal of our concerns at the original dinner more than overwhelm the many years of good times and goodfood I and my friends and family have had here. Bill, you have lost a longtime loyal customer. Read more
