Ordered an appetizer (bruschetta), and for the main I had the fish & chips. Both were incredible! I would absolutely return. I... should have ordered the two piece fish because I was left wanting more! Service was good too. The atmosphere is cozy and feelsnostalgic. Again, very rare i give 5 stars but Tom's place deserves it. Hard to describe this place but its very cozy unlike any place you... will have been in. All arm chairs, booths with a roaring fire place, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices and goodfood. If i might recommend a good red wine, it's this one attached JP Chenet. I had a glass. It's smooth as butter. Ask stafffor it as I don't think its on the menu yet but the waitress we had recommended it and said it was new. It's exceptional. Read more
Went to this eatery because I read other reviews. I was not disappointed with the ambience. Cozy but still bit cold inside... despite the ???? place being on. The waitress was friendly enough but some where between the ordering and the kitchen there wasmuch confusion. The appetizer was completely forgotten, the spicy mayo that was requested to be in the side, came on the sideafter it was scraped off the bread, but still was affecting the taste. The brisket was one of the most disappointing sandwichesI ever had, I actually think it was wrong but I was too hungry to ask. They tried to make it right by giving us deserts on thehouse, but the dinner was very unsatisfactory. Won't go back. I am sure the service can be better, too bad. Read more
