Without a doubt.......................the slowest Swiss Chalet for sit down service. It's been over 30 minutes since we ordered.... The sitting area might be half full. Ridiculous. Read more
The place wasn't as clean as it should be, tables were dirty with dishes. One server for the whole place and he wasn't really... experienced. We order appetizers and didn't get it, he wanted to bring them after we had finished our dinner. Also, chickenwasn't cooked, we noticed blood close to the bones. Not a nice time. Read more
Our server was fantastic very friendly Peppe e speaking of Peppe she kinda look like Peppe long stocking, lm sorry I didn?t get... her name. The Nashville hot chicken is awesome never ever been a fan of the Swiss chalet dipping sauce but their gravy on theirpoutine was excellent , coleslaw was good green beans were good, good price,no complaints here ???? My friend and I go to this location often. Too often to say the least. 90% of the time we get a server named Devon. Last time we... went we got a "Hey its you guys!" He is very personable, helpful and friendly. If anything is wrong with our meal he alwaysmakes it right. I would like to give Devon a "hell yeah" :) Read more
On the way to Montreal on September 16th, 2020, I stopped in Kingston for lunch at this restaurant. I had ordered the caesar... salad with no crutons and extra dressing along with mashed potatoes with extra butter and a hamburger with onion, lettuce,pickle, and ketchup and mustard, with a glass of chocolate milk. The mashed potatoes came to me plain with a bunch of butterpackets on a plate. The mashed potatoes were cold and the butter would not melt. The hamburger they served was just a patty witha bun, and all of its toppings were just thrown on my plate. Added to that the ketchup and mustard werent even on the bun but inpackets. If this were a fast-food restaurant like McDonalds I would understand but this is a full-on restaurant and this wasjust not very pleasing. It took the waitress two rounds to get a straw for my table. I couldn't eat all of the mashed potatoesbecause cold potatoes is terrible. Because my burger patty was done correctly and was still warm qhen it arrived at my table, Iwill give some credit but my burger wasn't made. All in all, 2 of 5. **I would like to note, this was at the Napanee location and not Kingston.** Food was good. Butter was ice cold and wouldn't... spread, even after meal was done. Cold temperature outside with restaurants air conditioning on. Food ended up cold by the timewe finished. I had to put my winter coat back on while eating. Couldn't get out of there soon enough. Mentioned the cold totable server. They ignored me. Won't be going to this location any time soon. Read more
Had a few issues (one being that I have covid and the driver knocked and wouldn't go until I opened the door despite a... contactless note) and called to speak to the manager. Not only did he offer to send me out my missing items and give the drivera heads up, but he included a surprise chicken noodle soup with the second delivery.
