Yummy and out of the ordinary flavours but pricey. Had the chocolate orange ???? gelato for the first time and loved it. They... have exotic fruit sorbet flavours like mango and passion fruit, in the end I opted for the orange flavor. You have a choice of 2or 3 scoops and can pick different flavors. I chose the mocha! Wow have they got moving people through the shop to a fine art. Big queue but the staff come to you with little menu cards and... take your order, they then hand it to you wherever you are in the line and you pay and go. Such and amazing variety of flavours.I had the mango (out of this world) and raspberry in a waffle cone. You have to go here if you are in Kingston. Read more
Mio Gelato has apparently been around since 2010, but I didn?t even notice it last time I went to the ice cream parlour next... door! It is now very popular especially on summer days with lineups inside. As a local gelato shop, they offer a variety offresh gelato flavours and even allow you to taste a sample if interested. Our small cup came with two decent sized scoops. Theraspberry lemonade was colourful pink and tasted equally refreshing as the flavour name suggested. The dulce de leche was acreamy affair that resembled evaporated milk in flavour; it was nothing to write home about. Interestingly, they offer gummyworms in paper bags to satisfy your sweet cravings. Service was fast paced but friendly, and lines moved quickly. Some familieshung around outside at the front benches to enjoy their gelato. We chose to take ours to go while we strolled through downtownKingston. The gelato seemed to maintain form well enough to not melt quickly under the sun. Read more
With it being 30 degrees outside, stopping here was an easy decision. Serving authentic Italian gelato, frozen yogurt and... sorbetto flavours, there?s something for everyone. Hazelnut ice cream was really good! It was a little too sweet to our taste but still worths a try. We are giving 4 star only... because large cone we ordered could not carry 3 scoops and collapsed. My husband could not finish his ice cream and had to throwit. Other than this, store has a very friendly and fast service. Everything we ordered was very fresh and reasonably priced.Definitely recommended!!? Read more

You know the place is good if there is a long line up every time you try to get it. Same goes for this place. It?s always got a... long line up whenever we tried to go. The store is adorable and the service is excellent. You do get to try your options beforebuying which is always a plus! Not a lot of aces allow that with Covid these days so I was happy that they did. The price isdecent and the choices are quite unique. There?s the fresh fruit sorbets and then the chocolates, nutty flavors. You have avariety to pick from. So definitely check it out when you?re visit Kingston. It does seem a waste to get a cup when you want acone as I never used the cup, I just threw it out. I get maybe they are trying to be unique but that?s a waste of money, energyand the environment. Great place for a treat anytime. There aren't enough food, service, value or atmosphere ratings for My Favorite Ice Cream Shop,... Canada yet. Be one of the first to write a review! So delicious and tasty. Great selection of flavors, handy and reasonable.Decent ice cream with probably 20 options. Small little place with benches outside to enjoy them. There's a vast variety of icecream and gelato flavors, loved the burnt marshmallow and chocolate. Didn't try any other flavors. You can take home pints ofice cream, and I believe I saw some cakes in the fridge. Nice for a local visit with the family after dinner. The kids love togo here and there are always lots of kids and dogs sitting outside enjoying their treats. It's great in the evening after along walk in the beaches or during the day to beat the heat.
