We arrived at 6:30 pm with a reservation for 4. We were dining with friends on a Saturday night. We were sat upstairs along the... railing with an awesome view of the lower level. Great view and people watching as the band set up to play later (they startedaround 9 pm). Appetizers were awesome! Dinner was delicious and we ordered from the regular and specials menus. Cocktails aredelicious! The fig cocktail was better than the pumpkin one, but both were good. It was very dark so excise the blurry photos.Was very difficult to see and picture quality suffered. Steak frites was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. Recommend addinggrilled salmon to the beat salad for an extra yummy treat. Ramen special - if they have this on the menu, order it! It wasamazing. Also not pictured was a delicious ragu with a few meats. Dessert and cappuccinos were wonderful! Lavender cheesecakewas surprising & delicious! Band came on at 9 with light show and smoke machine. The music was so loud, but very good. If youdon’t like loud music you may want to go earlier in the night. It was fun to watch people dance. We may as well have been at ahuge concert. What a treat. The only things we didn’t love about Ole Savannah was that the ladies room was pretty gross,water and toilet paper everywhere and a soap dispenser which had been separated from the wall laying on the counter. We had lunch on a Monday. The service was slow, although it shouldn't be because it's not busy. It took almost half an hour from... ordering to having the food brought to the table. My partner had devil's eggs and broccoli cheddar soup. He said the soup wasgood. I had the cranberry walnut salad with salmon. The salmon was cooked superbly. It's a bit crisp outside but moist and softinside. One plus point: The restaurant provides dental floss in the bathroom. Read more

The food was good. The pulled pork sandwich could’ve been more seasoned or at least had bbq sauce. It was a little bland. The... combo was great. Service is definitely slow at lunch and it took forever to take our order plus it took forever to pay the bill.Definitely not our waiter’s fault but hire more people if possible. Read more

The atmosphere here is nice. You can sit inside or outside. The waitress we had, Meggs, was efficient and pleasant. Our favorite... part of the meal were the appetizers. The Bavarian pretzel and the Clams were really good. We were not impressed with the mealitself. The chicken was ok. but dry and not like any fried chicken I have had before. The coleslaw and the street corn were notvery flavorful. The corn was cold. The cornbread was good, but served cold. The fish was not good at all. The breading was softand limp, as were the fries. Ginger Beer was really good. Maybe it was a bad day for the kitchen, so I wouldn't say don't tryit. I don't think we would go back here again. Read more

Spacious open-floor seating on two levels. High noise level. Proficient waiters and friendly hostess. The food is delicious,... with some nice twists on old standards. Al fresco seating in season. It was a clean place went with a party of 4. I don't know if the waiter was new, because seem as if he wasn't sure about... anything. It took an hour just to order dinner the pretzel was the best thing. Know one at my table enjoyed their food. If youwant a strong drink ???? good place. Food was not great. Service was not good. Not bad people but long wait. We waited a whilefor the food for it not to come out all together and not be right. We all had to go have dinner somewhere else. Read more

Incredible place: former dock with unimaginable high ceiling and exposed brick walls. Fantastic vibe and very warm. Like a... family house atmosphere. Also the service is very friendly and Hudson River view is lovely. Food is pretty mediocre here. Thegumbo wit h a bell pepper. Sort of new-york-state disgusting addition to the New Orleans soup.
