This is a little family owned restaurant. Great if you're looking for home comfort foods. I've always hated having my side... dishes in those plastic bowls but it seems to be holding out here. I've been here previously before covid started and loved it but just went back the other night. The server was less than... interested in being there based on tone. The food was mediocre compared to what it used to be. Ordered some potatoe skins andthey tasted mostly like oil. Overall less enjoyable than previous visits. Read more
Can't say I was impressed. There were 3 in our party. Two ordered hamburgers & one the vegetable beef soup. We did go at a busy... time, about 5:30pm on a Monday. It seemed to take about 15-20 minutes for the food to come out. Both of the hamburgers had to besent back for more complete cooking (both were originally requested well done). There was another 20 min delay for the correctlycooked hamburgers to arrive, this time correctly. In the meantime the patron with the soup has finished eating. I don't believeI have ever seen vegetable beef soup made with hamburger meet instead of chunks of beef. It was more like a stew than a soup. Ittook a while for the check to arrive. It could have been a shortage of help both on the floor & in the kitchen, but it did seemboth table service & kitchen service were lacking. Certainly flavor of the soup was lacking. It could have been an off day but Iwas less than impressed. I try not to let a first bad experience be a deciding factor. I would go back for a 2nd chance. Read more
I had the large steak salad for the 2nd time. It's highly recommended by my coworker and it was delicious as always!!! I thought... this place was a hardware store for 3yrs I drove by the area on my to and from work.???????? Well I'm very happy she introducedme to this place! The location is so convenient to get to and each time we order from them folks, it's a very satisfying & greatchow experience. I saw my coworker's burger today and it was nearly 1 1/2" thick!!! Excellent food at a fair price, located just off the interstate for an easy stop while on the road. The menu had a suprising... amount of variety without anything too frilly on it. If you go, get the chili!! You won't be disappointed. Read more
The service is good. The atmosphere is nice. But, I've had better quality steaks at other restaurants for the same price.
A few friends and I grabbed lunch at Zach's today for the first time and really enjoyed our visit! Honestly I'd never heard of... this place and only passed it while going to get burgers at The Shack, but overall the food was great and the service wasfriendly. We grabbed an appetizer of fried pickles which were really good, and I grabbed the patty melt and enjoyed it. Theamount of food they give you is a steal for the price! Read more
My family's experience with Zachary's Steakhouse is excellent. We have been going there a long time we've never had bad service... or bad food. They have the best bacon cheeseburgers anywhere around and the steak is pretty good too. It is a family-orientedatmosphere you can watch TV while you eat your food. The TV programs are also family oriented. The owner makes rounds with thecustomers and we have met his family, they are wonderful people and family oriented. Customer satisfaction is high on theirlist. We would recommend this establishment to anyone, especially newcomers so they can see what real good wholesome food isabout!
