The food is really good and fresh. The restaurant itself is clean but a little dated. The customer service is outstanding! I... love to take the kids here to eat dinner or to grab some ice cream cones for dessert. Every time I've driven by the parking lot was packed so I had to try Skip's....I was not disappointed! The prices were so low... that I wondered about how good the food was- I shouldn't have worried. We tried this place on a whim, and so glad we did! It is a busy place. We got there on a Thursday, around 6p.m. and it was quite... crowded, but there were a few tables open. Staff was friendly and mostly efficient. Good prices on a menu with a wide varietyfrom hot dogs and burgers, to meatloaf platters, among other things. This was our first time at Skips. My daughter got the bacon cheeseburger and I got the jalapeno jack burger. They were both... fantastic, so were the fries. The service was efficient and friendly and the atmosphere inviting. I am glad we went but sad thatwe waited this long since next Saturday is their last day being open. If you get the chance please go before they close. I justwish I had room for ice cream. Read more
