They must have changed chefs I have been going for years. The biscuits was overcooked hard. The gravy had too much pepper,... hardly any sausage in it, and thin. The eggs were cooked perfect. Best brown Gravy N Biscuits in the Tri-Cities,TN/VA area. Definitely can tell the Gravy is homemade by the taste, and is... delicious.You must try them! Tried as a side item with a Philly Cheesesteak omelet that made perfect !! Truly Friendly staff ,nice cozy Smokey Mountain Style atmosphere. No Media News blaring in the background like some small restaurants do in this areawhich is a relief, and makes it a nice relaxing place to have breakfast, coffee , and relax from the rest of the world to. Really disappointing after reading the glowing reviews. Waited almost 45 minutes for simple breakfast and almost all the food... was cold. I drove a ways to get here looking for a great breakfast on my day off, I left really bummed. The coffee was good andthey kept it full, but there's no reason food should ever be served cold. Great place if your not in a rush, I intended to eat there but it took 45 mins to get out food that we immediately had to... transfer into togo boxes! That being said, I ordered a chicken liver deal w/a biscuit, corn nuggets and fries squash and it wasall great. Also the staff was very friendly and very apologetic for it taking so long. Would have given 5 stars if it hadn'ttaken so long to get our food. Read more
This was our second Friday visit in a row here due to some very poor service at another small restaurant we'd usually go to for... Friday Fish Fry. Unlike the other place, the service here was great and the fish was better as well. This will be our Friday goto spot from now on. Read more
AMAZING! There isn't a whole lot of real food in Kingsport, BUT this place is so good! I love the catfish plate and the corn... nuggets ???? I haven't had corn nuggets since I moved here from Florida hands down the best! Great and caring staff! I wouldgive them 10 stars if I could! Read more
