While driving home to Asheville from Kentucky, I had a line of storms following me all the way. They finally caught me in... Kingsport, so I decided to find a port in the storm at Model City Tap House. Sure enough, power was knocked out shortly aftermy arrival. But, the taps kept working, so they kept pouring. Once the rain went by, I sat out back with the owner while Itried a few selections from their diverse beer menu. Overall, it was a great pit stop after a day of hectic driving. Wish theywere closer to home, but I'll make them a regular stop when I'm up that way. Read more
In town for a short time and this place was highly recommended as a great place to with good bartenders and a chill vibe. Was... happy to say they didn?t let us down. Great bartenders and selection of brews for their changing menu. Large indoor seating andalthough we were there for a night cap patrons said the food options were also great. Fun place no one taking themselves toseriously but also light hearted and great at what they do. Worth having a stop and getting a drink with a friend and relaxing abit. Cheers!! Read more
