Best fried chicken in the entire country without question. The owner came by our table to check on us, he is a very nice... gentleman. This restaurant is awesome! My husband and I went there for a late lunch a few days ago. When we walked in there was no staff and no customers anywhere and... several tables that hadn't been cleared off yet. We picked a table at the back and waited. The waitress came out a couple ofminutes later. She was VERY slow. Our table needed wiping off and she told us we could move to the next table if we wanted butwe said we were fine. She said 'Well I guess I'll have to wipe it off then'. Wow. We ordered, they didn't have anything for asalad and no onion rings. We each got a sandwich and tea. The cook brought out the food and cleared off the tables. The waitresscleaned up the dishes. My husband ran out of tea and waited for her to finish. She finished and never once checked on us. Myhusband got tired of waiting and took his glass to the counter where she was and told her he needed more tea. She didn't eventurn around and told him she was trying to get the clog out of the sink and that she had been trying all day. I seriously doubtthat. Then she told him she'd bring it to the table in a little bit. 5 minutes later she finally brought it. We finished a fewminutes later and went to the register to pay. She went back to the kitchen right then and we waited for several more minutesbefore she finally came back. She was SO slow. She really didn't care if we were there or not. During COVID, this place has had to adjust. It's not the same on any level. But it is reminiscent of it's former self, with a... family atmosphere, relaxed schedule and a buffet they've recently added back for some hours. (cafeteria style vs servingyourself). The history shown in pictures on the wall is phenomenal. ..great food, good people, a museum included. If you're likeus and love mom n pop restaurants, you might also love Lynn Garden Restaurant ! This was my first time there and it will be my last. The food was good when I finally got it. We waited 35 minutes for eggs.... Then we ordered 2 eggs and only received 1 egg. We ordered the big breakfast that's called the "favorite" we only received halfthe biscuits and gravy also. Everyone around us was getting their food, just not us for some strange reason. People who came inafter us received their food, ate it and left, and we were still waiting for our food. I asked for a hit tea and they didn'tknow what that was. Said no one ever asked for hot tea before. It was not a very good experience.. Read more
The fried chicken is GREAT!!! I ordered the 5 wing dinner. It includes not only the 5 drumetts but the 5 winglets too, so that... makes a normal order of 10 wing pieces. Good Eats. Read more
