I stopped for a take out done in Cracker Barrel " it was 45 minutes to closing but the young woman who took my order was... friendly and helpful..I browsed while my takeout was being done,as always they have the best gift shops with unique and nicethings to purchase..I had to watch myself for if I could I would purchase more than I should... There was some great gift ideaswhich I did purchase.. and I only hope the young woman who took my order received her tip, for when I checked out the youngwoman who was joined by another young lady chatted and ignored me as I was attempting to pay my purchase and my food order ...It was unprofessional as they talked together while I stood there about gossip I could had went without hearing,the young ladyat register was to preoccupied to pay attention to myself ' the guest " which made me uncertain the great server who took myorder, then brought it to me as I shopped while waiting would get her tip . I'm fine with chatting but not when a guest is infront of you and attempting to ask questions and not feel I was intruding on a break ... I was still friendly though peeved andwalked out without even a word spoke to me, except to hear the other young woman say' lock the door so we can get out of here 'that being close to 10 minutes before officially closing.. otherwise food was hot and what I needed to continue my long triphome. This Cracker Barrel is the worst I?ve been too. The first couple times the only issue was we would wait abnormally long when... dining in. We didn?t get really checked up on much but people get busy, it?s okay. The issue occurred yesterday. I made themistake of ordering a curb side order through the app. Estimates time was around 2:15. I arrive at 2:00 at a spot and hang outfor a bit, figuring I was early and giving it some time. 2:15 rolls around, I haven?t been talked to by anyone so I run insideand say that I?m there to Tara, and she was very kind and said that she would bring it out when it was ready. 2:45 comesaround. A patron knocks on my window and says that she got there after me and just got her food and she had to get a manager inorder to get her food. I walked in and asked Tara for a manager. 3 calls and 15 minutes later, DJ the associate manager finallycomes around and asks what?s wrong. I explain to him what happened and he runs to the back. Around 15 minutes later, he comesback with my food and said he provided me with a couple extra cornbread as compensation. I walk out to my car and check my foodfor accuracy to find out that all of my food was cold. I go back inside and ask Tara for the manager again. I nice young womanalso up front went and actually got DJ to prevent another lengthy wait. He comes quickly and asks what?s wrong. He takes my foodback and comes back about 15 minutes later with my food very hot. He said he gave me a sweet potato as compensation withoutasking me if that was alright. This may be me personally, but I don?t feel justly compensated not satisfied. To their credit,the food was delicious and the front house staff were super friendly and sympathetic. I had to wait to be seated, i waited to be served, and while i was eating, i realized why i waited. This is the best Cracker... Barrel i have ever been to. Keep in mind it is 8 pm and very busy. I travel around the country for my job and always stop herefor good hole-some food. Been to many locations and one stands out because of the food and service. This is my favorite locationin the country how. Good job to the whole staff especially my waitress Kayleigh. She was always moving and very professional. Read more

We went to the Cracker Barrel in Kingsland Georgia and it was awesome. Two members of my party ordered the grandma special which... they loved. I ordered the bacon maple glazed chicken breast with macaroni and cheese and broccoli. It also comes with theirfamous buttery biscuits ???? Our waitress Anna was very nice. There was about a 25-minute wait but they send you a text messagewhen you are ready to be seated. That actually works out especially if it's hot outside, you can wait in your car withoutmissing your name being called on the overhead speaker. Read more

Through the years I've been to multiple Cracker Barrel restaurants-- this one is the best so far. I had Uncle Hurshel's?... breakfast with 2 eggs, biscuits, grits, hashbrown casserole, chopped beef steak -- everything cooked perfectly. Server wasgreat, too. Read more
