Reviews for By The Sea Inn & Café in King's Point, NL
Dropped in for lunch as we were planning to do a trail in the Springdale area. Unfortunately we were VERY disappointed with the... food at this restaurant. Given the good reviews I was shocked I brought my family here as the fish and chips were mediocre, fries were not fresh, pizza we ordered wasn?t cooked properly and the veggies on top still looked raw. Would not recommend thisplace! Read more
Great dinner & service. Our waiter was a friendly young man who was a delight to chat with. I should have gotten his name.
We had a great late breakfast here. Well prepared bacon and eggs. Excellent Toutons with nice molasses from a squirt bottle! ... The service was excellent - friendly and helpful. Stop in here!!!! If it?s a nice day, the covered patio right on the water isgreat!!!!! Read more
Loved it. When travelling we often make it a point to stop for lunch here. Food is fantastic as well as the service. Don't pass... it up...only 15 to 20 minutes off the TCH. Cheers ???? Read more
Stopped in for lunch to break up a long drive and we were so glad we did! The food was great and the servers were very friendly.... It was a bit too windy to sit on the deck, but the views were gorgeous! Definitely recommended. Read more

Just popped in for lunch. The food and service was top notch. Couldn't say enough good things about this place. Location was... perfect with a huge deck overlooking the ocean. Will definitely be back. Read more
This is mainly a review of the inn, which we stayed for one night. Reception was handled by the restaurant staff who were busy... when we arrived, yet were still very welcoming and took the time to show us to our room and explain things about the inn. We hada large room on the second floor right on the dock, with a great view of the bay. It had a kitchen and jacuzzi tub (we didn'tuse it). It appeared that all the other rooms were being renovated so we basically had the whole floor (the whole inn?) toourselves. Like every other place we stayed in Newfoundland, it was very clean. Very quiet after the restaurant below closed, sosleep was peaceful. Full, table-service, breakfast in the morning (which began at 10 a.m. when we stayed) with the same friendlyservice we experienced during check-in. Close to some shops and additional places to eat in King's Point. Read more
