Reviews for The Reel Kitchen in Kings Park, NY
I ordered to pick up and the fries were raw and the coleslaw was dried out . If your gonna give me the left overs at the end of... the day don't charge me 35$ Read more
If this place was on the water in an upscale area, it would be known as the place to be. Unfortunately, Reel Kitchen is located... between a bakery and a liquor store on a strip mall. But, as many foodies will tell you, some of the best restaurants arecrammed in small shopping centers. As someone whose diet consists of mostly seafood, I have been fortunate enough to eat at alot of restaurants and seafood markets throughout the country. I can say that the crabcake from Reel Kitchen was hands-down thebest I have ever had and the salmon burger was cooked to absolute perfection and fulfilled every bit of the craving I had. Theowner was extremely friendly and seems to put his true heart and passion into the cooking. I urge anyone that enjoys seafood tocheck this place out?you will not be disappointed. Read more
I'll start with the positive, the owner was very nice and the place was clean. Very poorly prepared food with zero taste. Prices... were exorbitant. My roll fell apart and was caked with fish roe- way over the top. My chowder tasted like warm, greasy potatosoup. For real people. I would not recommend at all. In fact, I?m pretty annoyed that I?m out $25 for this ?meal?. I?d have goneback to complain but they took so long to prepare in the first place that my lunch break was squandered. You?ve been warned. Great little local place for fresh fish. Lots of good healthy choices we got tacos they were deep fried that scared me but they... weren't totally greasy except for the outside. The fish wasn't soaked in it. We sat outside nice spot to relax. I like localpeople like this work hard in our community and we need to support them. I can find cheaper maybe I guess seems like it.Friendly staff good customer service Read more
I love this little hidden gem! The seafood is so fresh! You can buy anything fresh or have it cooked. the Alaskan King Crab is... insanely good ! ??must try The baked salmon it?s s my go-to?it?s breaded with Panko so it?s nice and light. The fish and chipsare also really good they use old bays seasoning on the fries so they?re packed with flavor. I?m going with a 4 because Iusually judge a seafood place on their chowder and it?s not that this chowder is bad I just prefer a creamier clam chowder andthis is more watery than I?d like. They also have a really nice sushi selection. Service is great everyone is super friendly. There?s a couple indoor tables but I normally do take out. Read more
My favorite place for seafood around. Amazing poke bowls, fish taco, and baked clams. This isn?t the cheapest take out, but in... my opinion worth it for the quality especially when dealing with seafood. Not the place to get friend fish and French fries ifthat?s the type of seafood you?re looking for. Read more
