I can't really say anything about the atmosphere because I never ate inside but I can tell you that the food is delicious and... huge portions. And the shrimp are cleaned because like there was another place near here that does not clean their shrimp andit's absolutely gross but this place cleans their shrimp. My wife and I love going to Love's fish box. We try to go if not once a week at least once every other week. She loves the... chicken tenders with buffalo sauce on it that she gets. And I love the salt and pepper shrimp. I do recommend any of the otheritems they have on the menu I've never had anything there that was bad the people are super friendly they seem to go out oftheir way to help you and make sure you are satisfied with your meal. I'm giving it 4 stars based on previous experiences. I've been coming here for a few years. It's always pretty good. It's... consistent. I'm not sure what you guys changed in your breading whether it's cheap flour or cutting costs on spices. Youraised the prices a while back by a good bit and the portions are a little smaller. This place fell off pretty bad. Back in the day, it was good. Today, flounder & hush puppies are bland. Flounder is just barely... done. Baked potato was a little overbaked, but it was the only decent thing I ate. I paid $17 for this plate of blandfoolishness. I don't recommend it. Save your money. Read more

Been going there for years, usually get the butterfly shrimp. The last several times, the shrimp are to small to butterfly and... are mostly breading. I know prices are rising and things have to be done to be competitive, but, don't cut quality. I for onewill pay a higher price for quality. I drive 14 miles one way for your food, however, If quality dissappears so will I. Anotherthing, ALL food handlers should wear head covering, and the gentleman in the kitchen with a full beard should be covered also. Read more
