We stopped through Kings Beach several times and everytime we have to stop at the Char-pit. Kayla is always hustling and giving... us great service when we are there. We always get the Swiss and original burger with fries and onions!! Read more
Awesome local place. My family and I showed up later in the day with a very annoying and complicated order. Super friendly... staff. They are busy but worth the effort to support. I rarely give such low reviews, and I want to be clear that everyone working there was VERY nice. However, it just took too long... for mediocre food. It was just shy of 2 hours between the wait to order, the wait for food and then eating (there were 9 of us).I believe everyone there is doing the best they can, and if the food was better, I'd give another star. On a hot summer day, there will be lines and a wait but this is a North Shore classic and the food is pretty quality. The burger... was juicy and came with a good portion of fries that came with it.
