I've always had good experiences with Screwballs service and food however today my experience deserves a one star review. The... server was miserable from the start. She took over five minutes just to acknowledge us and it wasn't done with a greeting. Sheput the menus on the table and asked what we wanted to drink. She never said hello and no joke, she never smiled throughout theentire interaction. Our drinks were served quickly but then we waited for over ten minutes, closer to 15 minutes to place ourorders. There were only two tables occupied in the entire restaurant area, one being mine. The other table was being servicedby the bartender, not this server so she had one table to service which was my table. The bartender was handling the bar arealike she always does so this wasn't a matter of this server working too many tables. The vibe she put out was that we werebothering her. I've never experienced this at Screwball's and I go there often, going back as far as the Fiddler's Green days. Our drinks were never refilled, we were never asked while eating if everything was okay or if we needed anything and when itcame time for the bill, I had to flag her down well after we finished eating. Still no smile or effort to be friendly. Fortunately the food was good as always but when I go back to Screwball's, if she's still there I will request service fromsomeone who wants to be there that's eager to earn a tip and not just expect it. This happened Sunday afternoon on November 6tharound 2pm. Sorry it came to a negative review but this was deserved. I hope management addresses this because experienceslike this are how restaurants lose customers even if those customers are mostly regular locals. Read more

Nice spot with excellent service and highly accommodating staff. I really enjoy every time here, live music and quick service.

Screwballs is a sports bar with a very friendly and fast staff. Service was excellent. The food was good, brought out quickly... and priced well. Everything was clean from the exterior to the drinking glasses to the tables to the restroom. This is a greatlocation for a nice, fun night out to eat, drink and either catch a game or live music. Food is good. Drinks are limited. Service is amazingly kind, but small; 1 or 2 servers for the bar, bar area, and dinning room.... Tuesday trivia is fun, but a bit 'gimmicky'. And if you're not there early to get a seat close. Forget being able ro hearanything all night. Read more

This is great place to go on a friday night. Great live music. Great food. The staff are amazing...

Great spot in KOP off the beaten path of the Mall area. Large bar area with plenty of seating and overflow high tops. The staff... was great and my order came out fast. I had a ceasar salad and order of wing split 5 Hot garlic sesame and 5 HOT which was allvery average and the wings had no kick even though I ordered HOT. 5 stars all day though because they appear to be one of thefew bars in the greater Philly area that has kept their prices reasonable, for that reason I will hit this place every time I amin the area.
