TERRIBLE service and it wasn?t even busy. Had to ask for our queso cuz they forgot, waters were empty for most of our meal... (conveniently refilled as we were getting our check), ?all you can eat? tacos were asked for a refill and they just bought usour bill instead, kids ordered 2 quesadillas and 1 burger and they brought 2 burgers and 1 quesadilla (charged us for theburgers, which were twice as much), sides for our meals were all wrong?. AND SHE WAS TRAINING A GIRL! Big yikes. Was excited totry this place with family due to the raving reviews, but honestly have not been this disappointed with service in a long timeand it was embarrassing to have recommended this for our visitors from hours away. As someone who?s worked in the serviceindustry, I usually try to give them the benefit of the doubt.. but this was just too much! Uffff ???????? Will not be back. Read more

Dined at El Agave in Kimberly 3 times now. It is now my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Fox Valley..and I?ve tried many since... I moved from Colorado a few years ago. Chile Relleno is my go-to Mexican dish, and it was one of the best I?ve had. The cheesethey use is so good. I need to find out the name of it next time. Tried different dishes each time, and they were all excellent.Fresh ingredients and all the sauces were good. Margarita delicious! And the staff were wonderful! The food is delicious and full of flavor. I enjoyed the El Agave Salad with steak and substituted avacado slices (additional... charge) in place of the guacamole.
