I really hate to sound like a Karen on this one because I worked in the food service industry for 5+ years, and everyone hates a... Karen, but this place was naaaasty. When I first sat down, I rearranged the condiments and such because they were a heaping messtaking up a good portion of the table, as I did that there was a children's straw half chewed with food inside of it, stuck inbetween the sweetener and salt and pepper. Then I ordered a water and took two sips and it tasted like actual mop water. Ourserver was not the most personable, but he was sure to check back on us. The sirloin I ordered was a good, and unlike some weirdplaces in Wisconsin, when I ordered ?steak and eggs? it was actually steak and not chopped steak, but when I grabbed my fork andknife to cut it, there was a huge amount of old, crusted food on my fork so I requested another set of silverware. As I waseating I felt underwhelmed and my stomach started to turn, I didn?t end up finishing my food and I?m sure it had to do with thewater because I later had horrible stomach and bowel upset. As I sat and watched my son eat, I was looking at the backs of theseats and the edge of the table and everything was SO gross. Handprints and food smears, and a 2 inch gap underneath the tablebasically filled with old paper and food and sugar pouch wrappers. The food wasn?t terrible, but based off of the fact that thewater tasted like the ice machine has never once been cleaned, and everything I touched had a thin layer of grime on it, I thinkI?ll pass next time. We stumbled onto this place a few years ago. It's the first place I think of whenever we're in the area for breakfast/brunch.... The breakfast is amazing and the portions are great. You will not be disappointed! Read more
Service was unfortunately slow. Waited at a table for 30mins before our order was taken. People seated after us had food before... we ordered. The hashbrowns were dry and eggs were bland. The bacon almost made up for that as it was great. The smores pancakeswere pretty good. Regretfully my wife did not like her meal and stated that the sausage didn't taste good and her eggs had astrange unappealing texture. We probably won't be going back. Read more
Pancakes were good but the rest of the food was average- eggs and hash browns were pretty overcooked. Servings were pretty... generous though. Also the waitress we had was very young and forgot about us a few times while she was working on other thingsand wasn?t the friendliest. I?m from up North in Wisconsin and have been to a lot of really good family restaurants for breakfast there but I can?t say I will go out of my way to back to this one and will try a different restaurant next time. If Iwere you I?d try somewhere else first unless you want to risk having a breakfast that a couple years from now you go ?Oh yeah,I?ve been there- but I don?t remember it so it must not have been very good.? Fabulous service! Great prices and large quantity of food. We had a variety of food ordered at our table and they were even able... to split the cost of one dish between 2 seperate bills. The gravy on the Chicken Fried Steak was very bland and the breading wasmediocre at best and the ribeye that came with the steak and eggs was so thin. The crepes were god but they did not come stuffedwith cream cheese unless you asked specifically. Read more
Food was great and our server was amazing!! She was so upbeat, helpful and super busy doing seating, taking orders, delivering... orders and bussing tables!! She stopped several times to make sure we were doing good!! The sunny side eggs were right on thespot, bacon was deliciously crispy, we were so glad we stopped by this place, we will definitely be coming back for more, 100%recommended. ???????? Read more
