Reviews for Pier 28 Pizza & Grill in Kimberling City, MO
Lots of outdoor seating. A few places to pull up your boat, and can also get to it from land. Margherita pizza was tasty. Not... true Italian style obviously, but had cherry tomatoes, chopped basil, and plenty of cheese pretty far out to the edge of thecrust. Not much of a beer selection if you like microbrews, but their lager was pretty good. Ducks, geese, fish, and turtles allwait for people to throw scraps over the railing. Read more
We went here tonight before a concert and it was a really great experience. We had the spicy pickles which were really good! I... had the honey grilled cheese and our party had the Jamaican grilled chicken tacos, the Mahi Mahi tacos and all were overallpretty great! I wish the bacon was more crispy on the grilled cheese and it wasn't quite so greasy. And I wish the fries weremore crispy but they were hot and that's hard to find these days. Sydnee our waitress was great! She explained the dishes likeshe actually knew them. It was very helpful! Read more
Spending the weekend with friends in Table rock lake and they recommend the Pier for lunch. A fun atmosphere with good food on... the lake. Lots of seating both in side and out. Of course the views of the lake are terrific! Read more
We were there last night (Thursday) with a family group of 17. They were very busy and we had to wait about 30 minutes to be... seated. It was a pleasant wait as we sat on the dock and watched the ducks, geese and turtles swimming in the water. Ourwaitress was April. She was the best! Very personable, friendly, happy, well versed in the menu, etc. Most of us ordered bardrinks. I had a ruby red margarita and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers and entrees. Our group orderedseveral different pizzas, fried shrimp, coconut shrimp, the Italian salami sandwich among other things. It was ALL great. I'ddefinitely recommend the pizzas and shrimp entrees. The staff was friendly and welcoming and April happily took a few picturesfor us after dinner. We will definitely return here when we come back to Table Rock lake. Thanks for a great evening! Food was amazing, service was amazing, atmosphere....amazing. Kids loved the experience and seeing the life under the water from... the dock. This is probably one of my favorite settings in the Ozarks. Read more
Really enjoyed our evening here. Atmosphere was great. They had live music on the outside patio. Food was wonderful and beer was... cold. My only complaint was that it was extremely overpriced, but understand there is a premium charge for pulling up in yourboat to eat. Read more
A great addition to dinning options on Table Rock Lake. You don?t have to hike up a hill or take a shuttle, this is all floating... but also right next to a parking lot. 6 of us stopped in for lunch on a busy Saturday in June. We were seated immediately andour 3 pizzas, appetizers and sandwiches came out fast and fresh. We loved the menu options and a 14? pizza would easily feed 2+. The place is clean and huge, with a large deck, inside dining area and an army of friendly staff. There are many large boatslips to tie up to. The Caribbean Breeze pizza was the crowd favorite. We all agreed it was one of the best pizzas we?ve had. I ordered the Grouper Sandwich and it was just as good as my favorite sandwich I get on the Gulf Coast, and the fries arebetter! I can only imagine the cost of building and operating a brand new floating restaurant, but I noticed the owner walk overto the table next to ours and buy lunch for a large group of US Coast Guard Auxiliary members. Can?t wait to back there. Read more
Great time at Pier 28! The food was good and they had live musicians the Friday night we ate there. Nice ambiance as we sat... facing the boat docks. My wife had a blast feeding the geese, ducks, and fish from the pier. Read more
