Mixed feelings when we opened our takeaway order here tonight. Anticipation of a good meal as we opened the boxes followed by... disappointment when we took stock of what we were given. Ordered ?The Foursome? combo for our ?crew?. The pulled pork, thebrisket, the ribs and the smoked half chicken were all very good. I?d order those again. The potato salad was very good too, I?dorder it again too. Ordered an extra side, Mac and cheese, that was non traditional but still quite good.\nThe two little piecesof corn bread that came with the Foursome were terribly dry, tossed them. The sausage was MISSING as were the beans, bothno-shows in our package. The coleslaw was okay but less than one ounce per serving for two of us. I guess that?s enough to say?slaw is included???\nFor $145 including tip we won?t do this again.\nToo bad because the smoked meat itself was good, it?s justthe poor quality control on a couple of the sides we got and missing the two sides (beans & sausage) that took away the stars. We had a ?newish? waiter who was super friendly. Food was great and plentiful. The gluten-free chocolate cake was to die for.
I drove by this place several times and never stopped until today! Wow! What an awesome find so close to home. The fries were... the best I have ever had in my life! The beans were mixed with brisket. The macaroni and cheese was a 10 out of 10 for me! Ican?t wait to go back in the summer and sit on the deck. Finally, a nice surprise, free pool. So great for a family outing toplay a game of pool.\nMy only complaint was that the cornbread was dry and I would like to see different buns used for thesandwiches.. but they were still tasty. We read that this was a ?hidden gem?, and we decided to try it! The meals were huge and we left full; the service was amazing,... never would have guessed it was our servers second day there.\nWould definitely recommend the shareable smoked platter it wasall great (but the pulled pork was by far the best)! Absolutely loved this place! Our family had a great time at the new Whiskey Jacks.\nWe received very prompt service from the... great staff.\n\nWe ordered a variety of BBQ. Chicken wings brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. It was all great. I loved the sides.The fries and home made potato salad are a must to try.\n\nA great variety of craft beer. There?s something for everyone.\n\nIwould definitely come here again after such a great eating experience! Read more
Nice patio, great service and good value. Hits the BBQ itch without breaking the bank. Don\'t come here expecting it to be... better than authentic Texas BBQ but 30 bucks will get enough BBQ to feed 2 people. Definitely a great brisket though. Greatvalue overall. Tonight I did an online order and after entering my order including payment info it gave me an estimated pick up time of 30-40... min. I arrived at the 30 min expecting to wait a few minutes. To my dismay they hadn\'t even processed my order. The girl at thebar informed me they don\'t get online order notifications! Tell me, what is the point of having an online ordering service ifit\'s not monitored. This is the third time I\'ve ordered from them and the third time I\'ve been disappointed. Read more
