Food is okay. Lacks flavor. Beef fajitas don't have that true charred flavor we prefer & the barbacoa tacos arent made with beef... cheek. The rough prickly texture has me assuming it's seem to be made with beef tongue instead. Menudo is a bit bland. Groundbeef enchiladas taste like mashed soy patty meat. Another "this is my kind of place" review. I have a real heart for local fare. El Taco Jalisco is it. The food was excellent... excellent excellent. They also have off menu items on a board in the back. What it lacks in decor it makes up for in flavors. Iwill be back. Read more

5/4/21 yummy yummy in my tummy?. Was looking for a Mexican restaurant with good margarita?s?.. Wow this place had great reviews... and I see why?.. Absolutely DELICIOUS ???? I had the lime margarita and my sis had the strawberry margarita, so good, so BIG, wecouldn?t even finish it but our amazing server Claudia let us have it to go. Our food was also very delicious tasty and it cameout smokin hot. I can?t believe this was my first time there and I?ve been living in Killeen for many years? customer service isoutstanding ???????? We tried the Tornado with Tripa and Fiesta with asada Burritos! They were extremely good. Everything paired very well together... and the flavors didn't mush together making this an ideal treat. I would highly recommend trying one of these two items. Read more

This visits had a few flaws but overall it was a decent visit! The burnt onions, sausage, and overcooked shrimp major turnoff.... Thanks to the waitress for getting them replaced it didn?t change the misuse of shrimp. This is a good place too do date nightand or family night.
