My boyfriend and I went to BBQ Hub this past Sunday. He ordered the brisket sandwich and I had the pulled pork sandwich and... fries. I should\'ve gotten the pot roast lol! Next time I\'ll get it. I had them for the first time yesterday! I was the first to order lol. This was the best bbq I?ve had so far (I haven?t had much... bbq the 2 years I?ve been here so I don?t have anything solid to compare to). My first TX bbq introduction was Rudy?s and thatleft a bad taste, everything was very bland there. Here at BBQ HUB my meal was FULL OF FLAVOR! I had the Solo Dolo with PorkRibs & Brisket (my favorite meat so far until I try the rest ????) and my two sides were yams & Mac n cheese (both perfectlymade). I also bought a side of brisket egg rolls but didn?t get to them until the next day because I was so full lol I warmedthem up in my air fryer and they were so perfect ???? I?ve come to this establishment several times with no issues until yesterday. I supported the business even though their prices... were steep. I bought a poly plate near closing and got home to see the ribs were burnt and dry. I called the next day afterwaking up from my shift, and the young lady who answered the phone said since it?s the next day she can?t do anything about it.If it?s close to closing and by the time I got home and ate, they were closed, then how can I call the same day? I will just goto Bobby B?s in Killeen, where the menu selection is bigger with reasonable prices and rated number one. Read more
Excellent experience from the moment you walk in and leaving. The brisket is loaded with flavor as well as the Mac & cheese and... greens. With each bite, you can taste the love put into the food. Went to BBQ HUB today before I clocked in at work I got the brisket potatoes and a large candied yams. I was 3 minutes late for... work but I tell you that it was worth is the food is so good. I have to say that I?m always skeptical when I order BBQ in this area because of past bad experiences. So, my expectations are... always some what low. I decided to get BBQ from this place because of the good reviews, so I drove over. When I got there, it?sa small place, but what stood out to me was the cleanliness of the eating area. Very clean, so I was happy about that. So ok, Iwalked to the counter and this nice young lady was standing there also and she asked me it this was the first time eating thereand I told her yes. She told me that this place does not disappoint, but in my head I was like yeah ok, I?ve heard that there.So, the gentleman at the register took my order, I ordered the two plate meal. I got ribs, brisket, Mac n cheese, greens, andcornbread. The food came out in a timely manner and I was on my way. I got home, (again my expectations were low) and examinedmy food was I always do when I order takeout (I can?t help it I?m a foodie). I was surprised at how mindfully the food waspackaged and the presentation was nice and clean. Ok, but in my experience, the food would like good but tasted horrible. So,first thing that I tasted was the Mac n cheese, of course. Let me tell you, so good! Flavorful, cheesy, creamy and just drypasta and cheese, but the way a proper Mac n cheese is supposed to taste. Very nice! I thought, so ok Mac n cheese on point,now let?s try the greens. Greens so good! They tasted like they actually put an effort into making the greens taste homemade. Atthis point, I?m very happy, so let?s move on to the main event, the meats. The ribs and brisket was amazing! They were smoky,but not overly smoky and had texture/bite, and not falling over the bone and mushy, which I really appreciated. First time visitor today! The atmosphere is welcoming! Love the cute setup and name. The owners and workers are great people.... The food was good! My husband and I got the burger with Mac and cheese with shredded brisket on. Just wish it came with a littlemore bbq sauce. Only the negative is the wait time. We will definitely will come back. I didn?t get a picture because the plate never stood a chance!! I ordered ribs, sausages, mac n cheese, and greens. My boyfriend... got the brisket and mac sandwich, red beans and rice, and fries. And we added peach cobbler. Everything was amazing; the flavor,the texture, the freshness, and the portions. The customer service was also great.
