Well I don't do this often, but they really hit all the marks. Be stopped into order some food we could take over to Jockey's... Ridge State Park. They took out order promptly, and asked us if we wanted a water or something while we waited. The bar staffin the front room was wonderful and very accommodating. They updated usb frequently on our order progress, refilled drinks.Generally made us feel welcome. The front bar area is a lovely, well preserved diner car. Great food, great drinks, and great service! Our server Nicole was awesome, friendly, and really knew her stuff. We got the... special appetizer - smoked salmon dip, which was perfect - along with the crab cake platter, which made me do a happy danceafter the first bite. We had to finish out with a slice of the best Key Lime Pie on the planet. There was already a wait when weshowed up at 4:45 on a Friday, but it didn't take long, and of course it was well worth it. Awesome little spot with delicious fresh offerings and the best staff. Loved the music. Appetizers were amazing - try the... cheesesteak rolls and the spinach dip. You won't regret. Very quick service. I?d read all the great reviews about the steak & cheese egg rolls so definitely ordered along with peel n... eat shrimp. Both were very good. I personally liked the egg rolls better without the marinara. I topped the meal off with a toogo order of strawberry shortcake & they added blueberries. It was delicious.
