Khan's is a great place. The food is excellent. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. 1st course is either Miso or Egg... Drop soup. It is more food than you realize when you start filling the bowl. Opt for the large bowl rather than the regularsize, especially if you're hungry. Best restaurant in OBX. All the staffs are friendly to each customers. It?s interesting that I can make my bowl by myself. ... The food is amazing! Such a unique and cool restaurant! Almost like a build your own hibachi- and you can load it up. Tons of fresh meat and veggies... to choose from, and you can put whatever/however much into your bowl. Add some sauce on the side and they then take it back andcook it all up for you. It was soo delicious and I?m already planning on squeezing in another meal here before I head back home.Hands down recommend! First time here and it was worth it. The inside was clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. When the hostess seats you, you... choose a bowl size, rice and soup. It work like a buffet in a sense, you go up and chose what ingredients you want in your bowlfrom spices to meats and veggies. The waitress my husband and I had was one of the nicest and polite people I have ever met. Sheexplained everything in so much detail and was extremely cheerful. This was a 1st visit, the meals were delicious, the egg drop soup hot and tasty,,the only thing I thought wasn't to good was... the Crab Rangoon.. it was tough and the filling wasn't much, the sauce to watery. But our server Monica was awesome, patientanswering all questions with a great attitude..the bowels great,, for lunch it was a bit expensive averaging over $17 for 2, theappetizer was a bit costly for what was received but again service awesome, the main meals delicious and going in after 1pm itwasn't crowded.. UPDATE: We went back on January 1, 2022 for a New Year Day meal. I don't remember our waitresses name, and I am not sure if it... was a language issue or what exactly, but she treated my husband and I differently than she did other customers in therestaurant. When my husband asked her about it, she said "It depends on the customers attitude" (huh?!?!) He asked her "Weren'twe polite to you?" And she said yes. So I don't know what she meant by her graciousness not extending to us as other customersbased on their attitudes. We were really nice to her. I mean, it took some of the enjoyment away from our visit. We drove 31/2 hours JUST to come eat here. I don't know about plans to come back. I was disappointed.
