This place is really yummy and amazingly fresh. Unfortunately, we were there too late and was not able to acquire any of the... poke that they are famous for. However, we did get the Marlin mac salad which was incredibly flavorful. I personally do not likeMac salad, but this one was really yummy. They're fish tacos are just unmatched and I can only attribute that to the fact thatthey catch this fresh. They are only open two times per day with a break in between to go catch fresh food. If the fish don'tbite they are not open. So this place is as local as it gets. There will be a line so be ready to pivot in case they're out ofsomething. But if you're here early, you'll likely get what you came for. Looking forward to going back and trying to poke but Ihad to drop them a five-star review because they are running a great business with quality food! Read more
We got the poke bowl with half traditional and half spicy. This was our first time having Poke, and were very pleased. The... traditional had so much flavor and a great texture of fresh fish. The spicy poke was no joke. They were a little late openingup because the boat was late coming that day. That is fresh fish! We have visited this place multiple times and have loved it every time. These people go fishing in the morning, feed people from... 11:30 until food runs out, and then prep that morning?s catch for the next day?s food. The day we went, the catch of the day wasMarlin. It was insanely delicious. The Marlin Macaroni Salad was great as well! This is likely some of the best lunch you canget on the island and I recommend it to ANYONE I know that is visiting Maui. Absolutely best fish on the islands and a super good price for what you get. The guys were super friendly and the food came out... pretty quick. I had to take a double look at what we got! It was a good amount of fish and everyone in the group loved whatthey ordered. Finally a place who gives you a good amount of food for what you pay for.
