Monkeypod Kitchen was fun and lively on the evening of our visit. Live music made it loud and fun as soon as you walked in... though the ambience is upscale. The cocktails are crafted well and hit the spot. I enjoyed the seafood market special and it wasfantastic. Our large group received fun and hospitable service too. One liner: Outwardly appears to be a chain but when you try it you will be surprised by some of the tastiest food that is rooted... in local sources and freshly made. Tip: reserve a time at least 1-2 days in advance and try to go during happy hour to get agreat deal on appetizers, drinks, and pizza. Parking: no valet but plenty of spaces right next to the restaurant. Ambiance:modern indoor and outdoor seating Food: We ordered the burger with truffle oil fries, pulled pork with pineapple pizza, andpumpkin ravioli. All of them were cooked just right and full of flavor. My wife and I loved the burger and fries. Juicy meatpatty and fries that were just right (not too starchy and enough substance that you know they came from potatoes). Drinks:Signature Mai Tai. Hands down one of the best I've ever tasted. We stopped by on a Wednesday night around 5:15-5:30 and it was pretty packed but we were able to get seated pretty quickly. This... was our second time eating here during our vacation because we thought it was just that good! The food is beyond superb. Thepumpkin patch ravioli is a must and the Mai Tai’s are to die for!! The White Walker drink as well as the pizzas weredelicious!! We had the Margarita the first time and the Proletariat the second time. The service was great the first time butour second was beyond fantastic! We were served by Russell and he went way above and beyond to provide excellent service. Heeven offered to fill up my water cup one last time after we had paid and before we left (since those drinks are strong!). This place was amazing! The food, the atmosphere, and the staff (Maddie). They also had great live music. All in all just the... perfect place for our last night on the island. Definitely get Chef Peter’s nightly seafood special. Tonight It was freshcaught grouper with shrimp. That paired with some great Australian red wine, and chocolate cream pie for dessert……but get areservation, they are busy…. For good reason. Read more

We went into Monkeypod for dinner after it was recommended to us. We waited about 45 minutes and were seated at the bar. The... bartender, Morgan was amazing! Super friendly and our service was quick. The Mai Tai is amazing as was the food. We split apizza and the fish and chips and ended the night with a slice of banana cream pie. I started following this place for their gorgeous looking Mai Tai. Finally got to visit for lunch. The cocktails did not... disappoint, and the food was spectacular as well. We sat at the bar, our bartender was friendly and service was efficient. Donot sleep on this place if you get the opportunity to see Maui. We are huge wing lovers and theirs were great.
