I liked their coffee. However I was only able to get some coffee once even though I visited 3 times. I think they are good but... the line is always too long. Their food menu seemed good but never got to try. The other location only sells coffee. Ifpossible, it?ll be good to divide the line into take-away and dine-in. For the two times that I decided not to wait was becauseof the long line outside the cafe and not being able to estimate the wait. Read more
In our experience finding good espresso in Hawaii has been a challenge. However we have been super happy with the drinks we got... from Akamai Coffee. It?s a pretty chill atmosphere, however it can get busy as you get into the mid morning so plan on beingthere for a least 10-15 minutes if the line is out the door. Read more
Loved this place so much my friends and I came all 3 days we stayed in Wailea. Don't let the line deter you, the staff inside... work so hard and quickly! The specialty lattes are well flavored and not too sweet. The NOLA cold brew is nutty and the baristaadvised I go with coconut or oat milk. All the pastries were delicious! Read more
Akamai is the absolute best!! My husband and I came here almost every morning while on vacation in Maui. They make an excellent... cappuccino. This coffee shop was a joy to come to and I wish we had one closer to our home. A must try while in Maui! Read more

Excellent way to start the day! The huevos rancheros and egg toast were both on point, and the scones were some of the best I?ve... ever had. The N.O.L.A. iced coffee was amazing - I love coffee and pour overs but find that iced coffee is usually a little toostrong/bitter for my taste, but this was slightly sweetened to perfection.
