The corn was a little undercooked and it wasn?t traditionally prepared with mayonnaise, red chili and Mexican Cotija cheese. It... was barely just ok. The Mahi tacos were also just ok. The fried fish tacos were a little better than average. Both dishes ofrice and beans were just average. The drinks were good. The key lime pie was awful! If you want really good tex mex/mexican in Key West, come to this place. Super yummy and the prices are fair. I recommend the... mahi tacos and the grilled shrimp skewer. Fair warning for those who don't like spice: the salsa is SPICY, it's not mild at all.So just be aware of that if you don't like spicy foods. Next time you're in Key West, go here! Read more
The food isn?t freshly prepared, or at least, they don?t reheat everything properly. The rice was semi-cold, and the salad was... very plain (they didn?t wash the onions properly so it still has a strong punchy flavour). I would recommend trying more localfood instead. Read more
I don?t do a lot of reviews, but for this place I had to. I have been to a lot of Hispanic food restaurants across America, and... this is at my top 10 best food places of all time. Corona on draft, reasonable prices for the area, very tasty food, and seatingthat is fantastic and not crowded. If I ever find myself down in the Key?s again, I will be making my way over. Was looking forward to some great Mexican, but was super disappointed. Got the Baja fish tacos and they were super fishy and not... fresh tasting at all. The beans and rice were the most bland I?ve ever had. Literally beans out of a can have more flavor thanthese. My bf got the beef burrito and it was meh. For a meal costing $36 dollars for 2 people, so not worth it and didn?t evenhave locals discount. Amigos and Sandbar have wayyyyy better Baja tacos. Read more
Street corn?traditional fish tacos were excellent and the beans were perfect (rice n beans side). Husband had Mahi sandwich that... was so good I?m glad I stole a bite?because he was quiet about it ..sipping his top shelf margarita. Great food and people Read more
Food was really great! We both ordered the fried fish tacos because it seemed like almost every other table had them. They were... good, but I now know I'm a grilled fish taco kinda girl. Everything was fresh & you could tell made there. The salsa was a biton the hot side, but had a great flavor. I think next time I will try one of their burritos, they looked amazing! Read more
The food is OK, especially considering the prices. Key West is pretty pricey but I?ve had better food. Burritos are mostly... cheese. These Maui tacos weren?t bad, just bland. The drinks were nice. Only had 1 Margarita. Service was really good. Read more
