Great breakfast poboy was probably enough for 2. The chorizo was not impressive. I would order without chorizo next time.
This is the best little hole in the wall in Key West. We were only on island for 4 days and ended up eating here twice because... it was so good. The menu is small and simple. All the food is spectacular. Our whole family are huge foodies and we were allthrilled with everything we got from here. They even have options for the non seafood eaters, a club and a burger, (muchappreciated) and I can attest that both are delicious. You walk up to the window, place your order, and it is made fresh whileyou wait. There is extremely limited seating, so you may have to take it to go, but don't let that deter you. Tiny place but has some outdoor seating possibly good for 3 or 4 couples. Little pricey but food was very good and took about... 10ins to serve. Staff was friendly and gave good recommendations. You'll be served with take-out utensils and packaging. Read more
The place is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I love food and can't say enough about this place. We ordered the pork tacos that had... avocado and homemade coleslaw. OUTSTANDING flavors!! Then we ordered the fish tacos that was just as good!!! It was sodelicious, I could cry just talking about it. Ordered plantains and sweet potato fries to go with it. I WANT TO GO BAAAAACK!!! One of my KW favs! Maybe the best blackened fish sandwich in a town with a lot of great blackened fish sandwiches! Grab one (or... one of the other delicious items @ Fisherman's), stroll down Lazy Way, then head down Greene St to Capt Tony's for a Capt Tony'sAmber. Perfection! Read more
This place is fantastic! Ordered the Caribbean turkey sandwich and fried plantains. The food was ready in less than ten minutes.... The plantains were served piping hot, crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly sweetened. The turkey sandwichwas perfect too. It had crisp lettuce and juicy, ripe tomatoes. What can I say?this is a must when visiting Key West. We love tacos and tried many different establishments while we were there,... and I can honestly say Fisherman?s Cafe is the best! Too bad they didn?t have any lobster that day, but the pulled pork and fishtacos were unbelievable. Pulled pork was seasoned well and not salty (which I find too often) and if getting the fish, get itblackened. The food took a bit of time, but it?s expected since it was made fresh. Plantains we?re made just how I like em -soft and sweet. Portions are sizeable so you definitely get your money?s worth. Can?t recommend this place enough?don?t secondguess and just go! Read more
