We had a lovely dinner here! We opted for the tasting menu which I have to say was very good, absolutely knocked it out of the... park. Portions were small but with 6 courses we left comfortably full. Cocktails were great, as well as the service. Ourwaitress was attentive but not intrusive. Overall, I would recommend dining here if you're in the area!! Read more

Probably one of the best meals we have had ever.- I would put it in the top 5. The food was prepared beautifully and our... service was perfection. It was my husbands birthday and they did a wonderful job of acknowledging it. We all had the tastingmenu. I want to note- the portions are not huge but the overall amount of food for 6 courses was more than ample. What weenjoyed most was that each course had a unique flavor profile, and all together the courses were cohesive and the progressionmade great sense. It is clear that the chef puts a great deal of time and thought into his food. This cost may seem high tosome, but if you want a dish of that caliber - you need to be prepared to pay for it. Cafe Marquesa definitely delivers. Read more

There are only 2 outdoor dining tables overlooking to beautiful palms and greens next to it. You can expect an elegant fine... dining experience at Cafe Marquesa from the moment you see the host until you leave the restaurant. The table was served anamuse bouche that was watermelon juice with cucumber and some herbs. We then tried Seared and Chilled Yellow Fin Tuna that comeswith avocado puree, fresh tomatos and olives which was certainly delicious. For main, I had grouper that was served withvegetables and beans. I must say it was a satisfactory portion and and the fish was tender and soft. Grouper is very common inKey West and it?s the fish to eat really since it comes fresh. Swordfish was nice but its mustard was on the heavy side. Servicewas great, staff was attentive and kind. Prices are a bit high ($45-$65 for mains) but I think it?s worth if you are a foodieand want to dine with style one evening. Read more

Best food in key west. Every dish knocked it out of the park. Started with a very nice wedge salad we shared - they plated it on... two plates which was nice and made things easier. Big plus on service there. Seared tuna appetizer was delightful. Very freshand flavorful - so much so we were even raving about the tomatoes. Next we shared the soft shell crab that was amazingly crispyand was accompanied by amazingly flavorful veggies. Definitely a highlight of the night. For mains we had the pork chop whichwas huge and tasty and the butter poached lobster which was as decadent as it sounded. Finished with some key lime pie that youcould tell used fresh limes and some amazingly fluffy Beignets that were awesome. We ordered a lot so it was an expensive mealbut worth every penny. Read more

My wife and I along with our three young children had dinner at Café Marquesa on back to back nights in late September. It?s a... small intimate setting and both nights we were the only people with children but based on what we had read we had to attend. Thewoman who set up the reservation was pleasant and accommodating. We had a large stroller that contains two infants and they madesure we had room. The cuisine was impeccable. As good as any restaurant I?ve ever been. We tried nearly every entrée off of themenu over two nights and every dish was executed to perfection. It Exceeded my expectations which were extremely high. They evenallowed us bring our own bottle of wine and simply charge a corkage fee, (which too many restaurants have gotten away from as oflate). Both nights we had a different member of the waitstaff and I could tell both of them were a bit green. However the diningroom manager is very quick to step in and make sure guest questions are answered. Unfortunately I can?t remember his name but heis a kind professional team member as was the host who made are reservation and welcomed us. Second night there they eventreated us to a dessert upgrade which was fantastic. I will definitely repeat. Read more

To start... our server was amazing he?s name is Jorge he was super friendly and took very good care of us, he was patience, he care toanswered and explained all the questions and details about the menu? thank you Jorge. We start we a romeo and Juliet cocktailthat has a very exquisite strawberry ish taste (we loved it) The. As an appetizer we got The Rockefeller oysters were fantasticvery tasty and creamy but still cheese toasty outside. My plate was the pan seared scallops and key west pink shrimp, thescallops were perfectly grilled outside and very soft inside, the combination of flavors was amazing the were accompanied withgrilled cauliflowers and snap peas that gave a crispy texture to the whole plate, I love it. My guy got the crispy porkosso-bucco and was fantastic, the crispy skin outside was delicious and the it was so tender after de skin that I can said itstart melting in your mouth with all this amazing flavor, it was accompanied by this mushroom risotto that was creamy/cheesy andsome grilled asparagus that gave a very nice touch to the whole plate.
