If I could give this place zero stars I would. The lady behind the bar judged our group even before we purchased anything.... Saying "You're not the normal type of people we get in here" as soon as we step in the door. She pretty much ignored us. It'snot like we rolled in and trashed the joint as soon as we got there. WTH? I'm a white wine person. That being said... All the wines I tasted had a nice grape flavor. The additional flavors really popped... in some wines, others had a nice finishing flavor. Our server was super friendly and informative. We enjoyed every second of ourtasting. Read more

We were greeted by 2 very sweet, friendly farm dogs. The receptionist was friendly, welcoming, and informative. Since this was... our first visit, she did a great job explaining and/or describing their procedures and products. The price for a taste, glass,and bottle were fair. As a matter of personal choices we preferred th dry wines. We sat outside for our tasting and thesurrounding view is was pleasant and relaxing.We also purchased a cheese plate and crackers to cleanse our pallets betweensamplings. Read more

You drive through vineyards to get to the building. You get out of your car and you will meet the greeters. The two dogs are a... bit standoffish until you let them know you are nice people. The place itself is clean and well lit. We were met by Kay at thewine bar. You are given a list and you can choose as many as you want. The tastes are a dollar apiece. We retired to a nicesofa in the "dining" room. In a few minutes Kay brought us our choices. The samples come in small plastic cups which you pourinto your wine glass. One thing that would be nice is something to cleanse the palate. My only gripe. Between the two of us, wesampled 8 kinds of wine. I suspected the "ice wine" would be sweet and a bit thick. I was right. I don't usually like sweetwines; but this stuff was delicious. There is a store with wine related merchandise. Most of it funny. Some borderline risqué.Yes, we took home a bottle. It went well with a pasta dinner. If you are in the country west of Kewaunee and looking forsomething to do. Taste some wine, take a tour. This is a nice stop, don't miss it.
