The place was empty at 6 PM on a Saturday night. Now we know why. They were out of white-meat fried chicken and out of sour... cream. Ham steak was drenched in gravy and the mashed potatoes tasted like thin paste. The chicken tenders were ok. The bakedpotatoes were way over cooked?mushy and tasteless. Server never came to refill water or drinks. She gave us the check but failedto ask if we wanted coffee or dessert. Place was entry when we left. Won?t be back. Nice medium sized restaurant, next to the Amtrak station and a two track main line . Nice full menu. Ordered the beaded... tenderloin, with a side of Mac and cheese and a side salad. The salad was fresh and great. Tenderloin came out, even beter,cooked great, breading tasted great, no oily taste and included plenty of pickles (most places give you 3). Only reason this place gets a four is because it was cold in there the day we stopped by. Besides that everything was great! We... had a big group and a wide variety of orders off the menu. There wasn't one complaint. You shouldn't walk out of here stillhungry. The chicken tenders were enough to feed a family of four. Great service as well. Definitely be back if we are in thearea again. The pork tenderloin pizza was a hit, the chunky applesauce was yummy. The Italian beef lacked some spices, needed more garlic... and onion. Tasty lemon shake ups. Less salt in the au jous. Food was served quickly. Friendly and attentive staff. Averageprices. Read more
