I got take out from Palermo's Restaurant in Kettering. Garlic rolls, chicken parm, side salad, chicken noodle soup, (and I don't... remember what the other entree was). The size of the cup of soup was disappointing. I used to be in the business, so Iunderstand the size difference between a cup and a bowl, but this looked like they ran out of soup and tried to scrape up whatthey had left. There wasn't much there at all. The croutons were soggy; soggier than a quick trip home should have made them.The garlic rolls didn't have much flavor. The pasta dishes were just okay. I like a lot of sauce, but my chicken parm wasdrenched, and the sauce was a bit bland to me. Everything looked great, but the taste did not match. I wouldn’t even give this place one star, but wanted to write a review! I suggest going to Fazoli’s over this place!! We had... the worst food & customer service EVER! Only our 3rd time there & this was the last. The other 2 times, in 2019, we had goodfood & very professional waitresses. They didn’t have spinach for the spinach lasagne & they didn’t have eggplant for theeggplant Parmesan….on a Sat. night at 6pm! They weren’t busy at all, now I know why. We went on a Friday night, there was live music. The atmosphere was a 10/10. Our waitress was so kind, and really handled being... busy well. This place is a hidden gem! You can tell your food is made fresh with how steamy it comes out. If you go you have toget a cannoli for dessert! I would absolutely recommend and would dine here again. Read more
Awesome veal parmigiana. It was so tender I could cut it with a fork. The bread served with dinner had a great flavor. The house... made vinaigrette was also very good. The service was fantastic. Read more
update: if you love cold pizza, the leftovers of the pizza from the review that were eaten ~18 hours after it was ordered were... outstanding. the crust had softened up and was perfect. Solid pizza- pictured to capture crust bubbles...plain cheese 16". Noticable garlic in it, but in a good way. Bottom of the crust had a small crunch to it from being a little overdone for myliking, but the cheese wasn't burnt and it was fully cooked which a lot of places around here don't get right. Speaking of thecheese, a little too much which most won't mind...would definitely not get extra. All in all I'd order from here again if I wasin the mood, 9 out 10 for an east coast type of pizza...not quite thin enough to call NYC pizza, but hits the spot well. Read more
This is one of our favorite local spots. We are close enough to walk. It's fun to eat outside on the back patio when it's warm.... There is a bar and tables inside. Friendly servers. Good pizzas and calzones, as well as pasta and dinners. Plenty of parkingout front of the strip mall. Read more
My husband and I go here quite often. It's our go to spot for Italian food. I can't believe the health department closed them... down over a license issue. Please Montgomery County Health Department you could have given them a notice and with all therestaurants regrouping themselves over the covid pandemic. Ohio could have used some of that pandemic money that no one knowswhere it went too and exempt the license fee or at least lower it for these small owned businesses. And another thing they needto go to the fast food places around the corner and close them down. The McDonald's smells like a sewer what's going on withthat. Read more
