I had originally booked 3 nights at this hotel and the queen room I stayed in was very comfortable and clean. The room had a... microwave, a coffee machine, a bar fridge and tea, coffee, sugar and creamer. There was a bathrobe, extra blanket, iron, ironingboard and hair dryer. The housekeeping ladies I saw during my stay were very friendly and accommodating with requests for extratowels and toiletries. Front desk service was average. When my flight on Thanksgiving Eve was cancelled I came back to thishotel as I had become somewhat familiar with the hotel. I was upgraded for free to a suite in the older building, which turnedout to be unfortunate. The sheets were not clean and I was told that there were not enough staff when I asked for fresh sheetsthe morning after (I flipped them over so I could sleep on clean sheets) so I said I would change my own sheets as long as I gotclean ones. The coffee machine and coffee and tea in the suite were very hard for me to reach as I am short. Breakfast is notfree but I was given a $10 breakfast voucher for each night that I stayed. There is a hotel shuttle that does airport pickupsand drop offs and scheduled drop offs to Walmart. The shuttle drivers were very nice. Overall a nice hotel. Read more

Rooms were clean and warm, nothing fancy. Location is great for travel; it's within walking distance of the ferry terminals and... airport. Housekeeping didn't make my bed after my first sleep, but I only spent two nights so it wasn't that big of a deal. Read more

Came in for lunch inbetween catching the ferry. Asked if they would hold my bag at the concierge while I ate and was refused.... The front desk staff was pretty rude about it. Would not go again. Read more

This place turned the pool and the second floor in to a private club not giving access to customers who paid to be at the hotel... to the pool. Food not hotel supplied all over the place on the second floor and throughout the hotel areas and lobby. Fillingthe limited space parking deck up with unpaid visitors to the club on the second floor and not charging them for the parkingdeck. Music that was way to loud at the pool and the second floor disturbing all who paid for a room. The food at breakfest washorrible , cold, unmaintained. STAY AWAY What is going on and who is making the money the private club bet its not Hilton theywould not screw thier customers this way. Read more

A real mix of pros and cons here: Pros: Location, right by AMH dock and bus stops. Service, including shuttle from airport... ferry. Restaurant is pricey, but decent diner food. Cons: "Management Reception": The front desk sends you upstairs, promising drinks and appetizers, but the pub staff is annoyed when you show up and the appetizers aren't complimentary. So,even though at every other hotel a management reception is a free gathering, this one is "come spend money at our pub" and anawkward experience to boot since waitstaff have to deal with mismanaged customer expectations. Left a real bad taste in ourmouth. Hard mattresses No a/c, but open your windows and a fan is provided. Unfortunately, it can be loud, just because ofthe busy street. Also had bad luck with being in the room that people liked hanging outside of (I have no idea why). Read more

The landing restaurant (Kennicott) We came in on the Ferry as one of our stops & decided to eat here because it was the only... restaurant visible from the ship. We ordered the Calamari, the Western Bacon Burger w/Fries & a Steak Sandwich w/Fries. TheFries were out of this world! They appeared & tasted to be made from fresh potatoes which is rare. I hate the crispy coatedfries that everyone's trying to pass of now a days (like BK, as opposed to McD). They steak sandwich had only one bun (on thebottom) so I wouldn't call it a sandwich, it was pretty average as well as was the burger. The service was very slow... buteveryone from our boat literally showed up at the same time so I expected that. They serve the whole menu allday which is abonus because it was 9AM & I wasn't feeling like having eggs. They have a large menu & much to choose from. I'd eat here if Iwere a local. Make sure to have the fries!! Read more

We stayed here for an over night to head out to a fishing lodge the next day. The Landing is perfect for that. The room were... clean and the staff was friendly. The on-site restaurant was a good place to grab something to eat. They have a shuttle thatruns you to the tourist area of downtown Ketchikan. Read more

The Hotel is amazing, Rooms are very clean and big. Service is excellent and it's strategically located opposite to the airport... and not to far from the cruise terminal. It has two restaurants and offers fairly good choices. Read more
