Decided to go to dairy Queen in Keswick tonight, was greeted at the front door by a vagrant asking for money, there was only one... person in the store serving, of which I understand cannot be the case according to food and drug Canada guidelines somebodyworking cash and serving food. I ordered two chicken sandwich combos, and offered to pay cash which seem to behoove the employeeworking there, we had to explain to him how to make change for an outrageous bill of $33.75 . My bad for not checking the billas we did not get a receipt for our meal. The chicken sandwich came with the tiny piece of lettuce and dab of mayo. The qualityof food was okay but I was astounded at the price, I think we were double-billed I will never go back to this place to eatagain! Read more

Went in for burgers and was told no burgers as the exhaust hood was not working?? The poor employee was there by himself and it... took a long time to get an order of chicken fingers. They need to spend some money improving this location! It looks very rundown and not well maintained. Read more

Unfortunately, during our 13 years in Keswick we have tried this location because it so close to our home quite a few times but... the customer service has at best been very dry, and at worst downright rude. I don't necessarily blame the general staff so muchas this issue stems from owners/management. A small change in leadership would make this location shine. *EDIT* This place senta generic response "hoping I'd give them another try" but obviously hadn't read my review...WE HAVE tried for almost 13 yearsand the service is shockingly bad and the staff are miserable including the on duty manager(s). On my way back from the beach to Toronto I stopped here and I?m not happy. My daughters and I ordered some pineapple blizzards... and it was done with a dirty mixer, which had peanuts, one of my daughters is allergic so epi pen was needed. I understand thatcross contamination happens but the blizzards had pieces of nuts. Meaning it was not wash at all. Then when I called to advisethem, the girl on the phone told me it was on my to advise them about the allergy (true, that?s on me) but what I do not have toadvise on is on washing their equipment after each use. 5 stars goes to the young lady who was working Monday evening. You did a great job. Never complained just kept going. Place was... clean. We had an order for 6 people and she had it ready in less than 10 minutes. One blizzard was wrong and she said sorry andmade a new one for us. No questions asked. We will gladly come back. That young lady deserves a huge raise. She kept the linemoving no matter how busy and how little help she had. Read more

Absolutely horrible service tonight, June 12, 2022. 3 employees working, 1 I believe was the manager. Ordered a simple... cheeseburger and a slushie. I was advised that it would take roughly 10 minutes to make as they make it to order. That'sawesome! Always hot and fresh food! BUT I was given the 2 cheese cheese burger, which came with a dual patty instead of thesingle that I asked for and they didn't even put the cheese on the patties. Instead they put both pieces of cheese on the topbun. Completely disgusting, drenched in grease and NOT what I ordered at all. Tried calling the store as soon as we got home andrealized, 5 times I have called this location TONIGHT. Not a single time did anyone pick up and they don't have an answeringmachine.
