Nice place, good service. Went for a nice steak and they were out. Settled for another and was not what I wanted. Appetizer was... a little bit on the bad side. Meat that was ordered had a slight smell to it? I'll leave it at that. My other visit here beforewas very good. Don't know what happened this time. I will visit one more time and let you all know. Went to restaurant for Veterans Day, 11 Nov 2022, as they were giving a very good veterans day incentive. The restaurant was... busy even though it was 230pm. Service was a little slow, because of patrons, but staff was very friendly, professional andattentive. Food was excellent and prepared perfectly. Quantity was excellent and very good tasting. Restaurant was clean andwell laid out. Although prices seem a little high, the whole experience certainly allows for the price. Read more

So I visited this restaurant tonight. The atmosphere and staff is great! The sushi was very fresh and delicious along with the... scallops. The Aged steak fell short of my expectations for the price. I really expected a thicker cut of meat and for it to bemore tender. But in all farness to the restaurant I believe it is the hibachi cooking method that really doesn't complement thesteak. The inside of the steak is tender but the outside from being cooked on the hibachi grill made it tough. So I guess thebottom line is don't expect to get a flame grilled steak from a restaurant that doesn't cook with that method. Read more

Great service (Johnathon was so helpful with the menu and checked on us often) and food. We got walnut shrimp appetizer (yum!)... Hubby got bento box teriyaki beef and I got hibachi shrimp. Exceptional quality Japanese & Sushi Restaurant! Our server, Olive, provided great service. We also bought 2 dry aged Wagyu... Filet Mignon steaks to try on our grill. You know it is authentic Waygu Beef when the certificate of the Waygu is publiclyposted! The shrimp from our Our Hibachi steak & shrimp dinner was a very good size & had a nice blackened flavor. I have left a review singing the praises of Bonzai before. It has always been fabulous. However, this time, not so much. My... family always enjoys coming here despite how hot it is (even away from the grills). The sushi is amazing and the drinks areoutstanding. Myself and family went in tonight and ordered our usual sushi etc. . .except this time my husband decided to givethe aged beef a second try. Yes, a second try, because we were not impressed on a previous visit. I've attached a photo of the$44 dollar "Aged New York Strip". It was essentially all fat and full of veiny pieces. It tasted like aged beef jerkey leftunderneath the coals of a camp fire. It was tough to the degree you couldn't even chew it. We had high hopes and gave it asecond go because we know the quality at Bonzai is typically top notch. We were highly disappointed unfortunately. Our waiterwas fantastic so, silver linings. Absolutely the best. We always have really good food and exceptional wait staff. The shrimp bento box is my favorite but they... also have dry aged steaks that are sooo good. The fried ice cream is good too ???? Read more
