I haven?t been here in two years. What a disappointment because I used to eat here all the time 8 years ago. The baked chicken... was my favorite. Well today the chicken and rice was so bad I couldn?t eat. The chicken was so dry that I couldn?t choke itdown. The rice was dry. The mashed potatoes which used to be much much better had no taste at all .. even the gravy was bland.The green beans were not stringed so I couldn?t eat those for not be able to chew the strings. Hence, why you serves STRINGEDgreen beans. The bills was just shy of $20 with the tip for one person. Unfortunately, the past history has not stayed thesame. I hate that, but I won?t be back. I will be taking the chicken home to my dogs. The picture doesn?t really help. Trustthis - chicken was extremely DRY. Food and service was great. Friendly people. Restaurant score was posted as 95.5 but the bathroom was terrible. Walls and floors... were actually scary. Wish I had taken my camera in there. Thick build up of dirt/debris in all the corners and grout lines.Dirt/debris splashed on the walls in the stalls and by the sink. Heavy layer of dust on top of the stall walls. I had arranged to meet my friend here for lunch on a Thursday. I?m not ashamed to admit that I chose Thursday because I had... reviewed the daily specials and I really wanted the country style steak and fixings. But then her schedule changed and we met onTuesday. Lately, I just can?t get enough shrimp and they had a 12 oz portion of fried gulf shrimp, so I ordered that with mytwo side choices of the hot chips and my mandatory two cups of ranch dressing and the fried squash. When she sat it down infront of me, she said, ?small order of shrimp etc??. I hadn?t remembered seeing a size choice but I thought I had missed it. Well, check out the picture. My plate was loaded with shrimp plus hush puppies! The light breading was seasoned really well andI could only eat about half. The hot chips were consistent in their crispness and the fried squash? OMG YUMMY! I polishedthose right off. My friend got the philly cheesesteak and hot chips. If you?re wondering how many cups of ranch she ordered,also two. You don?t get to be my bestie if you order 1 ranch! I really wanted to try the chocolate eclair cake but I wasstuffed. Normally, I would have taken it to go but I wasn?t going straight home and it was like 300 degrees outside, so nope.The checks aren?t priced but I was expecting it to be $15 for the shrimp plus the tea. It rang up as $8.99 plus the tea. That?sright, they only charged me for the Senior Meal which was 8 oz of shrimp. While I don?t ?think? I look 65, I really appreciatedthe huge savings. ????. I?ve eaten other things here in the past but hadn?t reviewed so here?s a list of what we?ve had thatwas delicious: baked spaghetti, meatball sub, cheeseburger club and for breakfast Hubs gets the hearty Plaza Sampler and I lovetheir French toast with bacon!
