Fridas Mexican Cantina is almost like a Kernersville landmark on Hwy 66 and I would say is not because the restaurant is right... across the highway.....it is because of its delicious food and warm friendly customer service. They have an excellent menu tocater both vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. I would highly recommend to try one of their margaritas.....BEST IN TOWN. Myfavorite is the Jalapeño Cucumber margarita. If you order guacamole, someone will bring a small cart to your table and makefresh guacamole right in front of you. Andrea is the best server in that restaurant. She listens and takes care of all yourrequests. She is so attentive that without asking she will get us extra napkins since we hv small kids and extra cups/bowls. Herenergy is contagious and always serves you with a smile and positive attitude. This is a dine in restaurant so when you walk in,the host will seat you at the assigned table. Parking can be a pain sometimes and you may have to park a little further outespecially during prom nights. A very clean restaurant and furniture are all made in Mexico....so they are ornate and prettysolid. Read more

Let me start by saying the food was good and our service was great. The issue we had was the menu. It has too many items... listed in a font so small it's nearly impossible to read. It was like trying to read the ingredients label on a hot dogpackage. We just wanted an ACP and some beef tacos. We gave up on reading the menu when the chips, salsa, and beer arrived. Irecommend this restaurant and we will return. The menu does have pictures so just point to something that looks good and spendyour quality time enjoying the chips and salsa. Read more

First: salsa was cold and chips were served up WARM. Yesssss. Everything we ordered was amazing. Even the Plaza de Mar with... tilapia, scallops and shrimp was great. Seafood is often rubbery and overcooked but this was perfection, light and tender andperfectly done. I highly recommend this place. Read more
