A 30-minute drive to receive extremely poor customer service from the waitress name "Britt" and our food was horrible. I wish I... could give my rating zero stars, but I unfortunately I can't. I specifically ordered my fish cooked with salt and pepper batter.Britt brought me and my husband's order out informing me that "we are out of the salt and pepper batter." She was nonchalantand quickly walked away. We did not have time to ask for any condiments. We waited nearly 10 minutes, and finally asked anotherwaitress for condiments. Britt came back, and I told her had I known I was not able to get what I ordered. I would have orderedsomething else, but she did not give me that opportunity. Therefore, I had to eat only a portion of the meal I ordered, becauseit was not what I ordered. It was not filling due to like most places significantly small portions. The food tasted like it hadbeen sitting for a long time and was reheated. We came in at 9:15 pm, due to my husband spending the day with his family fromlosing a family member. My husband said they gave us what they had, but to me what they had was $45 and a 30-minute drive whichwas not good enough. This will undoubtedly be the last time we visit here. It was an awful experience! To top it off, Britt andanother worker said "oh they finally left" when my husband and I were leaving at 9:55 pm. She was unprofessional and veryunwelcoming, but I tipped her anyway because I believe in treating everyone right. I turned around and said, "yes we're leavingand will never come back!" Read more
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Captain Tom's. We were greeted pleasantly as we came in the door. The food was hot and well... seasoned. The young man that was our server was very attentive and pleasant. He was there quickly with drink refills and askingif we needed anything. I also liked that the restrooms were clean and well stocked. My friends and I had a great time. We willbe back again! Read more

The first thing I will say is the people were very friendly at the drive through, I have moved down here a couple months ago... from the lake Norman area so it is hard to find a seafood place I like compared to the places around there and the Charlottearea. I was at first planing to go to smittys, however, the phone line seems to always be busy. I gave this place a shot amd Iwas very surprised, I ordered a dozen steamed oysters, some crab dip, salmon pasta, along with shrimp and grits. Everythingtasted amazing, the oysters were perfect , my girlfriend salmon pasta was perfect, the crab dip was amazing and my shrimp andgrits I loved. Coming from a place that has a good amount of great seafood places this place impressed me. Would definitely goback and would suggest it for anyone wanting good seafood. Read more
