Would put 0 starts if it was an option. Was very excited as driving by, looked like a cute pub. Walked in and there were 4... tables both inside and out, the rest empty. Drinks were taken and no ID was asked about? ordered prawns as an appetizer whichshould be a 5minute cook but waited over an HOUR as two servers stood behind the counter staring at their hands. Drinks finishedand 30mins later, still no one came to tell us if the kitchen was even shortstaffed. Finally after an hour expressed that wehave been waiting for our appetizer only to have the server tell us they are short in the kitchen, get dismissive, and cancelour order. Also; any pub that doesn?t know what a negroni is, should not be advertised as a pub. Definitely took a Wrong Turncoming here. Will not be returning. Read more

Really good food, great hamburgers using quality meat. Very friendly staff. You won?t be disappointed!
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at The Wrong Turn Tavern. We ordered absolutely phenomenal Bacon Poutine. House smoked bacon... with delicious gravy & never-ending cheese curds. For our mains we had burgers & a sandwich. Fries were awesome! So crispy anddelicious. Our only complaint was the mixture of Tavern music with the kitchens. A bit distracting but otherwise awesome food! Not particularly hot food but good ???? Read more
Awesome food awesome service and awesome location. Gorgeous remote scenery. Portions are a great size. Drinks were cheap Great... friendly people as well. I will be back here again next time I'm down in this area. The picture of the nachos below is a HALFSIZE. If you guys did breakfast you would make a killing here!!!!! Just a friendly suggestion because your food is awesome andI'm stuck with continental breakfast at a motel in town. But actually the motel is cute as well lol. Elks Motel. Read more

Its with a heavy heart I write this review. The Wrong Turn Tavern was one of my favourite pub/restaurants to eat out in the... Okanagan/Similkameen valleys. The food was delicious, the servers were friendly and the atmosphere was great for what was asmall town bar. Unfortunately, there has been a noticeable decrease in quality when I last ate here. There have been new ownerswith this place and I will not speculate on their experience or difficulties with the transfer of management. Sevice: Servicewas slow. It took a while for us to be seated or even be noticed that we were there. They were obviously understaffed for howmany people there. The couple of servers were trying their best but were quite overwhelmed by the amount of people. Our tabledid not feel we received the attention we needed. It was very busy that night but its no excuse when management should accountfor such situations. Food: Prices have gone up. 2 years ago the K Burger was roughly 14.50 with fries. Now its 17 dollars. Iunderstand prices are going up but this is a steep increase with not much better quality. Fries are not the same quality asbefore. Our buns came cold and servers forgot salad dressing and gravy. The burger itself was okay despite the cold bun; thepatty was very delicious. They had run out of their on tap pale ales. This is kinda inexcusable and I would expect more from aso called 'tavern'. They still had IPAs on tap however. Atmosphere: The place was clean and bustling. No complaints here withthe place albeit it was a bit crowded. There was a band playing the night. If that's your thing, then its great, otherwise itwill be a bit loud. Personally I can appreciate keeping a local music scene here and I applaud the owner's efforts forit. tl;dr service was slow and mildly friendly, food was okay but more expensive, on tap beer was lacking. If you had come herebefore, don't expect it to be the same as 2 years ago with the previous owners. Its not terrible, but its a notic Read more
