We enjoyed our dinner at Cooper's Hawk! It was our first time here and we will absolutely go back. The atmosphere is nice. It... is a large open space, but comfortable and welcoming. The staff was friendly and prompt. The menu have a lot of appealingoptions and the Kitchen can back it up. Read more
Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant has a fine reputation. We went for an event with a limited menu. Wait staff did a fine job... and appropriately attentive. Room pretty cramped to accommodate 30 diners. I’m not a wine drinker, but the folks I ate withreported the wine was nice. I had the bland risotto that sat under a heat lamp too long before coming to the table, but couldprobably credit our loquacious host. Food was ok but not what I would expect. My biggest point of discontent is the seating wasway too packed in for the size of the room. Despite being pulled in toward the table 6 inches closer than I wanted to be, I wasrepeatedly bumped by people passing through the aisle. Read more
I had the pleasure of experiencing Cooper’s Hawk with my best friend after she tried on Bridal gowns. We missed a sushi... restaurant & randomly stumbled upon this place as she went to do a turn around. We looked up & both said it was fate! Wine &food! Before walking in, we asked other patrons what they thought. Everyone told us we wouldn’t be disappointed. We weredressed casually & entered at the perfect time for Happy Hour. Justin was our waiter & extremely attentive. Every dish broughtout was savory and we certainly were not disappointed in our choices. Although, neither of us had heard of Cooper’s Hawk, wewere informed there are 45 nationwide originating from Chicago. We didn’t do the wine tasting … that’s next on our bucketlist. There’s outdoor seating, high tops & booths. You can come in casually or dress up. It’s a little on the pricey sidebut well worth it! Some of the best crispy Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had. We also had the shrimp and scallop risotto, the steak medallions, and... the gnocchi, and all three were very tasty. Dined in on a Sunday evening, and had a great experience. Food came out so fast and the waitress was very knowledgeable. The... skirt steak was seasoned well and the vegetables were roasted to perfection. The cilantro ranch chicken sandwich was tasty andpaired well with the Asian slaw, which was so good. The blood orange sangria was less a sangria and more a rosé bubbly butnonetheless, delicious!
