*update Oct. 2021* Beside the plastic protection being removed, the store is the same, busy even on a rainy day. This time I... got 1/2 dozen for the office, and an Apple Fritter and Maple Bacon Bar for myself. I've had a few versions of apple fritterlately, and this one was by far my favorite. Huge, with lots of apple pieces, and soft (not overly fried). The Maple Bacon Barwas the perfect combo between sweet and savory, I'm not embarrassed to say I finished the whole thing myself. Tip: Pay withcash to avoid 3% card fee Nov. 2020: My Grubhub order was ready and placed inside a sealed box when I arrived. Also, there is aplastic sheet over the counter that separates the cashiers from the customers. Super friendly service. The lady offered to filla chocolate donut with cream because they were out of the Cream Filled donut for the customer in front of me - talk about goodservice and customization! This little donut shop is a definite "Happy Place." Friendly staff and melt-in-your-mouth donuts make it a fun place to go for... take out or there are a few tables if you want to eat in. The apple fritter (my favorite type of donut) is packed full of applepieces, has lightly crispy edges, and a flavor burst that had my taste buds begging for more. All of the varieties our familytried had delicious soft dough with just the right balance of sweet toppings with not too sweet dough.
