Great spot for watching sports and entertainment. Really good sized so it doesn't feel too cramped. Staff was super friendly... and attentive. Tried the nachos and was pleasantly surprised that, unlike most places that serve nachos, Gators makes sure thatingredients are layered in, so there are less chips without toppings. Very tasty. Visited Gator's for a work lunch. The menu is pretty usual pub fare but with the option to order breakfast during lunch. Rest of... the table ordered burgers or sandwiches which were all tasty but the best part of any meal we're hash browns that came with mybreakfast. These were world class and a true surprise. Worth a repeat visit just for the hash browns. 4 stars as they over didthe bacon (way past crunchy to almost burned). Read more

Was staying down the street so I decided to try this place on a Thursday night. Was asked twice by two different waitresses what... I wanted to drink before finally receiving the drink after 20 or so minutes. Then I was again asked twice by two differentwaitresses if I wanted another one. It seemed like each time I ordered a drink the first waitresses to ask would flat out forgetabout it and a different one would have to come ask me a second time. Also I had a pizza craving so I ordered the swamp. I don?tthink I?ve ever been more let down by pizza in my life. Doesn?t even taste good Read more

I would highly discourage eating at this location, especially as a POC. My mom and I have gone to this establishment many times... once every few months when our lunch schedule allowed. The service is subpar at best (most of the time it takes 15-20 minutesfor a waitress to come back to the table even tho we have rarely been there with more that 4-5 other occupied tables) but my momreally likes their sausages and I like their fries. And they usually have a decent lunch special. This most recent time wewent. The waitress completely got my order wrong and didn?t even walk pass our table for over 20 minutes. By the time she passback I had no time to wait for my order to be corrected. I had taken one bite out of my sandwich (which is how I knew it waswrong). When she returned. She insisted that I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. When I know i most certainly did not becauseI don?t eat fried chicken sandwiches. After I repeated several times that I did not order that she went to get the manager. Themanager comes to the table and argues with me over what I said I order vs what the waitress said I order. Then proceeds to tellus the staff said we come in there all the time and complain about the food. When i told the manager that they must beconfusing us with someone else, he does not apologize, instead he proceeds with the same narrative and argues with me that weare the ones who have complained about the food the last 3 times we visited. This is AFTER he states that he is the nightmanager and have never seen us before. Both of the waitresses went out of there way not to serve our table, confused us withother black women that frequent the establishment, insisted that I ordered food I don?t eat, and than manager came to our tableto chastise us instead of providing a service. It was they worse dining experience I had in years. And it?s embarrassing, belittling, and disgusting. Read more
