Haven't gotten food poisoning here yet but feels like a gamble every time. Food quality is commiserate with price (which is... admittedly quite low). Don't get any seafood. OK for a cheap, quick bite for a work lunch but seems like their glory days arelong over. Owner is a nice guy. Read more

Love the place. Extra crispy spam musubi. The gooey butter mochi cake like they have back on the islands. The kalua pork is... never dry. And the mac salad?oh yeah?what more needs to be said? Wish he would update his hours on Google tho. It?s Saturdayafternoon at the end of summer at 6:15 and he closed shop early. Not cool, dude. We drove way outta the way to get there. I?mjust sad now. I really wanted to like this place but they?ve let me down now on multiple occasions. The lau lau combo is just fat wrapped in... taro with dry cabbage-less kalua pork and old rice. Don?t bother asking the staff questions about menu items or options either. They?re too busy being miserable. I can?t go back, I won?t do it. Read more

Twice I?ve been here & it?s the worst food I?ve ever been served . First time I got the kalua pork with cabbage , the whole... thing was drenched in grease , it was literally like soup , halfway filled the tray . Today I decided maybe give it another try, ordered short ribs , it was extra chewy (raw) , flavor was so bitter & the rice was hard and dry . This cook needs to go orthis place should be shut down . Waste of money and risk of health . Read more

Food is all pre-made and reheated to go. The portions are good and food was flavorful. The laulau was very fatty like other... reviews have noted, so only get it if that's what you like. The food was good and satisfied my appetite. Read more

Super generous portions large enough for a construction worker, hard working electricians or lumberjack men who burn up 3000 to... 4500 calories per day. I had much left over to carry home. The attached photo shows how much was left after I was satiated. Ihad the shrimp and pulled pork and macaroni salad and two rice ???? balls. Too much for this old man but maybe perfect portionsfor you. Read more

Such great food for prices that look like they haven?t changed in years! The mac salad, loco moco, and spam musubi were all on... point! The owner was such a cool dude, enthusiastic about his food and happy to see us. 100% recommend to fix that Hawaiiancraving! Read more
