157 Lounge! The hoi polloi of Kent State resides here. This place is almost like going on a ride at Cedar Point or something. If... you like crowded clubs this place is right up your alley. The drinks are pretty cheap and there are always, literally, THOUSANDSof kids flowing in and out of here on a typical Friday or Saturday night. They manage the crowds very well and it’s a funplace to take friends and family for the sheer spectacle. Even if the lines seem endless, there is never too long of a waitcause the bouncers work at top speed here. Highly recommend checking out this establishment!!! Read more
I am very disappointed about my experience at 157 Lounge. It was the worst experience at a bar I have ever had. I would never... recommend this place to anyone. The workers have a terrible attitude. I was almost kicked out last night for being harassed byOTHER people in the bar. I would like to get in contact with the manager because the workers make customers, who are spendinglots of money, feel very unwelcome. No one should ever waste their time coming here. Matt Guska is the Superman of Kent. I was thirsty and this man gave me drink, hungry and he fed me. The work he does to give... back to the community is incredible and so generous. Went to 157 lounge always had a good experience there until last weekend which ruined it for me. We were all going in and one of... the bouncers decided that my friend from PA’s ID was fake. My friend is actually 25 and decided to bend his id in half. So myfriend had to get another id when he got home to pa and had to pay for it. No reimbursement for this place. I’ve called manytimes even emailed. No response. What a terrible way to run a business. The bouncer also decided to get in my face and thenkicked me out. Will never go back. Read more
