Party of 3. Fish fry, chicken fingers and beef on kimelwick sandwich with lobster bisque. All had GREAT LARGE plate fulls and... timely service. Others were complementary on their meals. I love bisque BUT not this recipe. Would not order again. Just me? Mybeef on Kim was sub par, not enjoyable at all. Wrong choice today. Fries were great though. Menus must be replaced. I wasshocked to see how worn torn they are. Great location, Just go NY98 N to the Ontario Lakeshore and turn left. Rustic and comfysaloon/restaurant with scenic tables on screened porch and inside booths and tables for chilly, damp rainy days liketoday. Prices very reasonable. Read more
We opted for this local institution?s pub grub done (sandwiches, fish fry, wings) ? all of which was done at a high, high level.... The place was swamped on a Friday at 5:45. Our excellent server Sarah and her team got our food out to us in incredible time -without making us feel rushed. This place is a gem. Read more
The sign said short staffed food will take about an hour?.we wanted the Sunset room were told it was for larger groups?.really... what the heck? we had 5?the young waitress didn?t ask if we wanted the other air conditioned dining room and stuck us out on thedusty hot porch?needless to say we walked?ran the heck out. I had been for dinner one other time this year in July and my frenchonion soup was full of bread that look like it was collected from other peoples left overs? to the point there was no soup..:.it was sent back. The food was just okay. It's basically a biker bar. If you like the ambience of loud obnoxious people than this is for you. It... took an hour and a half to get served. The AC must not work that well because our ice melted rather quickly in our sodas. Theserver didn't keep up with our drinks...we only had one even tho she said she would keep an eye on them. How long does it taketo make a quesadilla and a burger? Too long if you are going here. I will NOT be returning. Read more
Worst food ever!!! Ordered steamed clams brought out giant, tough clams (not little neck) that were dirty and dry. The drawn... butter had sediment in the bottom. We used to go there years ago to great food. They actually acted shocked that we were nothappy and left! Won't go back! Read more
The food is amazing. Def after the face lift and additions to the place did it get the much deserved attention it needed. I've... been coming here for years with the family after fishing trips, beach days, cottage trips, etc. For awhile I thought herappearance would deter people away despite having great food. After the additions and added staff the place is one of my favs tosit down and eat. Read more

I went in for lunch Saturday 10/1/22. My table was dirty with flies feasting on the old ketchup on the pepper shaker. I brought... it to my servers attention and she had no response just irritated. Next, I asked for a salt shaker and she proceeded to reachunder the table to pick it up off of the floor and placed it on my table. I asked the hostess for another and she brought me thesame shaker back, because it had the same gunk on the side. I should have left at that point but I figured I would wait for myfood. The clam chowder was mediocre had no flavor I had to add tons of salt. The fish fry was OK, very watery and not muchflavor. The coleslaw was terrible dry and no flavor. The twice baked potato was far from twice baked, it was mashed potatoeswith uncooked bacon bits put back into the potato skin, no twice baking going on here. I could see how it was packed in by hand,which was extremely nasty. I suggest staffing your restaurant properly and training your staff members to be more aware of NewYork State health guidelines, I?ve owned restaurants for 25 years and I would close you down today. I understand you can?tcontrol your employees and what they do but you sure can put effort into training them to have a great attitude and be aware ofNew York State health guidelines. I wish you the best not trying to be one of the critical customers, but this was ridiculousand a horrible experience .
