Very nice decor with a northern rustic look. Mary our server was super nice. The buffet was delicious and lots of different... home cooked food. A lot of people come here because the price is very reasonable for all the food you can eat. I liked my potroast and the salad bar had a lot of different choices. Yummy desserts???? Read more
We had an excellent experience here. We were in town taking our daughter to college and enjoyed the people and the food so much... we ended up eating here for dinner twice and breakfast of Saturday. The thing that makes this place special is the people ...So great! Nice friendly good folk. Really a family atmosphere. We had the salmon and it was very good. This place had a nice Northwoods decor and was comfortably casual. We ordered off the menu and the food was good, but i think we... goofed up by not ordering the salad bar which looked more like a buffet. Just about everyone else in the restaurant was eatingyummy looking fried shrimp, chicken and not sure what else. The prices were pretty good too. We stopped at the Birchwood grill after a very long drive from Missouri to Wisconsin. It was 8:00 p.m. and their buffet was... amazing still! The meat and the buffet was absolutely wonderful I highly recommend the ribs. Very kid friendly place and theatmosphere is like a woodland Christmas decor. I was able to meet the owner she was the one overseeing the buffet the servicewas outstanding. If you're headed over the Chicago Wisconsin border I definitely definitely recommend this place!!!
