Omgosh...so good! We had the hot pastrami on homemade rye with Russian dressing and a hot corned beef. We also bought some... incredible poppy seed rugelach. Everyone was so nice to us. We met Zain and Sharon. The guys at the deli counter were greattoo! There's so much to choose from...and if there's anything you want that's kosher they'll special order it for you. Read more

I ordered the hot brisket sandwich. The brisket was dried out dark brown in color and heated from cold in a microwave. Thin... sliced not the thick, moist juicy brisket you would get from any Jewish deli in NY city. And $12 for a small terrible sandwich.Extremely disappointing! Read more

Really good whitefish, good lox. Hard to find a Jewish deli in the area, they fill the void. Prices are way too high. I guess... when you have the monopoly you can get away with $20/lb for whitefish salad ???????? Read more

Since moving to Florida I have come to depend on Jo-El's for ALL my meats, and special Holiday foods. Not only are the fresh cut... items top quality; but they also have prepared meals that I take home, freeze until ready to eat. I was even able to buy abeautiful Hanukkah menorah last year, when mine broke. It is truly a piece of art. Wonderful food & so much more !! Read more

On their website they write that everyone feels like home at Jo-el's and that's exactly how we felt a minute after walking... inside. We were greeted warmly as we entered by the Joe the co-owner and every employee we passed made a point to greet us andwarmly interact. The aroma of a real Kosher NY deli greets you as the door opens too. We drove 2 hrs one way, from Orlando, topick up essentials for our family members in Oklahoma who are longing for the real thing. We weren't disappointed! Since thepeople behind the deli counter were preparing orders for others, Sharon the manager, arrived in a flash to ask how she couldhelp. We had waited all of 2 minutes! She took our orders and made the connection with us right away further reinforcing howwelcome we were and how much our visit was appreciated. She LISTENED, not just to the details of the order, but to the chitchat and when she heard we had driven from Orlando she immediately made sure we knew they deliver to Orlando for thefuture. Our lunch was delicious, freshly made and served at our table with kindness that is often missing in the fast pacedworld. Even though it was getting close to closing time ever employ behind the deli counter took time to get our sliced meat, fish, and knish order right and prepared with care. No need to ask for the 3 lbs of corn beef to be packed in individual lbs itwas done without asking. As we were paying for our purchase the Joe asked if we wanted ice to keep the food chilled for ourdrive back to Orlando. This goes on my list of places I wish I had discovered 15 years ago when we moved to Orlando fromLouisiana instead of discovering it 2 days before we move from Orlando to Oklahoma! The good news is my sister is coming fromOklahoma to Tampa for her daughter's destination wedding in April and she knows she has to make at least 1 visit to Jo-el'sKosher Deli while she's in town. I could write a short story about how much we enjoyed our food, the shopping experience and Read more
