The food was good.. but, I came in with a coupon for the lunch buffet. On the coupon it said regular price 12.99, but when it... came down to paying.... I paid for 2 lunch buffets and my check was over 35$( we drank water). Totally deceptive practice to getyou to eat the buffet and then spring a different price on you. NO where is the price marked.. I will not recommend or evergo back. Way too many great Mexican restaurants in the area that don't need to be deceptive in their pricing. Read more

Fantastic authentic tacos! Been trying a lot of local taco joints and these are definitely some of the best. And their tortilla... chips and salsa are outstanding as well! Was just in for a quick bite but excited to try other menu items as well as theirbuffet. Read more

We didn't make it in time for the buffet, but it was the BEST most authentic Mexican cuisine I have had in my life! We will... definitely be making this a definite must stop place anytime we are in Florida on vacation! The fajitas are to die for! And theportions are super large for a great price. Amazing, comfortable atmosphere. Totally worth the try if you like real Mexicanfood! Read more

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Palm Harbor that had a buffet closed a while back, and we've been sad since that time.... However, we're able to celebrate once more! Don't let this little unassuming place fool you. I've lived here for a while, drivenpast this place hundreds of times and never stopped, until today. I've missed out. All the meats you need such as ribs, carnitas, ground beef, shredded chicken, and more are available at your disposal. You want to load it into a hard taco shell? Noproblem. Pile it onto fresh chips and make nachos? You're covered. Complete with all the toppings. I personally like to leave aflour tortilla at the bottom to catch everything and clean up when I'm done. There's other items such as chimichangas, menudo, rice, refried beans, black beans, salsas, and more. Last thing, queso. You like to top your (insert whatever here -chips/taco/burrito/fingers) in queso, right?! There's a vat of it. You literally just help yourself. Of course they've got beerand liquor to wash it all down with. Give it a try! *UPDATED 6-5-22* Came back and everything was still good! Seemed like theyhad a few different selections. The tamales were on point! I put salsa verde on them to set them off! Definitely give thisplace a try. The prices have gone up to $17.99 per person so it's a little steep, but it's worth the treat every now and again. It's cheaper through the week though. Read more

Great value and great flavors! We decided to try this place out for lunch after getting a flyer in the mail. WORTH IT! We... arrived shortly after 11am on a Friday to find only one other person. We decided to try the buffet. At $12.99 each, it seemedlike a good deal. The food was fresh and there was a variety of tacos, chimi's, taquitos, tostados, beans, rice, and all thetoppings. Varying degrees of salsas, as well as different meat entrees round it out. We will definitely be returning. Read more

This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant around! If you're still going to chipotle or other chain restaurants your making... a terrible mistake. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and always served as if it came right off the grill! We havebeen ordering takeout due to covid, but the food is still piping hot when we get home! I usually order the chicken burrito orchicken tacos (street or texmex) but also try getting the chips because the salsas here are to die for! Before the delta spikewe had the chace to also dine in, we both ordered the Fajitas de pollo and well...the pictures speak for themselves! Read more

Great Mexican street tacos (see pic) and ice cold Modelo draft! Tacos are well seasoned, bursting with meat, and sauces are... excellent. Tortilla chips are the best; fresh, thin, right amount of salt. Service can be a bit slow but so worth it. Read more

Well this is our first time at El Toro. Fast and friendly service. We started out with 32oz bottled Mexican beer and salsa. The... table next to us liked our choice also. We liked their Seafood soup dinner in front of them and had a good time. Looked so goodand they recommend it very much. Our meals tasted great with lots of sauce to make it even better. I wanted to send mine backand get the Seafood soup!!! Lol Covid protocols were in place with tables and staff. Going back soon to get some Soup. Read more
